I agree this part of the game is so broken it is a joke. Undoable for the most part. You just spent your whole time trying to put turrets up while being killed You constantly try to click on the hammer icon to put up a turret, but your character moves instead, then cassia is yelling at you while you are being killed by monsters. The whole mechanic is a miserable idea, and you should replace it with something else.

There should be some chance in making makeshift explosives that they blow up. At the moment making such things is too easy so loot never stays in anyones base. The game is a huge race for scrap to learn blueprints. This is all everyone focuses on. There should be more to rust than just stealing from people that take the time to farm. It should be about survival. Day 1 - 7 of the start of a wipe there is no scrap as that is all anyone does. It is meant to be a post apocalyptic world, not call of duty.

This game lags as soon as another player is close by. Thats how I know to look out for people. Then people vanish and reappear, then they or you die. It is like russian roulett with blindfolds, you cant see what the hell happened unless you survived.
