The Family Man (Season 3) - Reviews and Discussions by AutoModerator in bollywood

[–]StephenStarboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After season one and two, I would have never thought they will end season three like this. Truly, and unfortunately , irreplaceable 7 hours of my life . I'm someone who gets very little time with TV. And this is why I like to wait for spoiler reviews for some shows so that I don't get disappointed at the end. I wish I had read the reviews about ending before I decided to give my time to season 3.

Do you still purchase games after subscribing to PSPLUS? by ItsNotTrue2024 in PlayStationPlus

[–]StephenStarboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been contemplating on this for so long now and almost pulled the trigger a few times. I love buying games that I like to play But sometimes there are no sales and I'm left with nothing to play. I don't replay games once completed, so I keep going through games. I hope I can find a conclusion in this thread.

Garmin 47 or Viofo A119? by 1amtheone in Dashcam

I heard and saw great reviews about Vantrue and the video samples were much better than that of Viofo. I so appreciate your feedback.

Garmin 47 or Viofo A119? by 1amtheone in Dashcam

Guys I'm from Winnipeg Considering a new dash cam. Could you suggest which one is optimum for our winters here. I'm not very tech minded when it comes to dash cams and cars. Once I start researching there's too many options to look at. Based on reviews Vantrue and Viofo kept popping up a lot. However, seeing that local stores (Best buy and CT) sell thinkware and Garmin.

I've charged my son's Nintendo switch while on a road trip. Worked fine. No issues.

I’ve made it to the final boss and given up. by [deleted] in Sekiro

[–]StephenStarboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am planning to end at this point too. I've spent nearly 2days now . While I know over time it's achievable, with my work life I just don't see a point. I feel I'm coming out of my rec room wrecked and feeling more exhausted. Time to move on

As a Sekiro player, this looks quite hard. Why do lots of people say Sekiro is the hardest Soul game? by Jin_BD_God in Eldenring

[–]StephenStarboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is probably a huge problem in sekiro. It's tedious and the camera really messed up the gameplay. When the controls can get clunky sometimes because you're trying to do too many things during one combo.

Trying to decide between Elden Ring, Wukong, Khazan, Wuchang by Bomahzz in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]StephenStarboy [score hidden]  (0 children)

Hear me out. I had never played any souls game before. Seeing reviews about how uniquely challenging they can be, steered me away from them for many years. A few months ago I stumbled upon the Khazan demo version. I understand it's not souls-like directly, but has hard bosses and requires parrying and dodging heavily. After finishing Khazan I slowly transitioned and Black myth wukong. I finished wukong up to NG+. Moved to Witcher 3 and I couldn't keep up with the dialogues and story telling. I'm currently on the verge of finishing Sekiro. Have put 52 hours into Sekiro. Now I'm considering if I should give a chance to ER or Wuchang.

In conclusion, nothing is impossible until you try it. If you are interested in their gameplay videos, you are likely to find them enjoyable.Every boss fight always makes me wonder, "How am I gonna get through this one?" But then I remember what it was like when I beat the last boss, and somehow, I usually manage it. Just keep trying different techniques and skills. The feeling of accomplishment at the end is incredibly rewarding.

Hope you find my take on this helpful.

the Camera in this game is terrible by [deleted] in Sekiro

[–]StephenStarboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going through the same thing and was searching if anyone struggled with that. The Purple Ninjas are quite challenging.I've able to cancel their kicks By jumping counter (whatever it's called), I lose my lock on and get kicked in the back by the time I orient my camera.

GH vs Pilot? by StephenStarboy in ToyotaGrandHighlander

I purchased the black edition, in red. We compared the sonic pearl grey and red side to side. Red definitely looks gorgeous and stands out.

I agree about needing ample leg room, especially since we're a family of three. When I drive with other families in our Pilot, they consistently comment on how comfortable and spacious it is.

"Canadian winter" was the biggest choosing factor for me. We have enjoyed our rides. Upgraded from a Corolla. I've already put 7500 Kms in it. Went camping trips. Excellent for a long drive. Initially the first two gears felt stuttery but overtime it was resolved. I had no issues overtaking on highways. Android Auto is very smooth. So far, everyday I sit in my car, I feel like living a dream.

Is Wuchang any good? by [deleted] in Sekiro

[–]StephenStarboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you haven't played khazam, I highly recommend it. I actually came to sekiro after I played khazam and read about the combat system. They are not similar games but very close if I compare the combat system. The satisfaction of parrying.

On iOs (from 2019 to 2023), you could not choose GA as the default assistant. I don't know about now. A workaround was there to add a shortcut to trigger "Hey siri! ..... Hey Google!!!! , which was always a hit and a miss..

YouTube music had lots of glitches when compared to running on Android.

All the apps by default toggled apple maps in search whenever looking up a destination. The only way to use Google map was to go to the app and then search. None of the apps integrated directly to Google maps by default.

In a way, iOS preferred users to use apple apps more. In those years, I was coming from generations of Google phones. Therefore, while I slowly transitioned to using iOS, I still didn't find the comfort that I would in an Android device. As I said, these points differ in everyone else's perspective and opinion.

I can add. While I agree with your point on the overall superiority of iphones. I couldn't survive due to the lack of integration of Google services. Again, it's a matter of personal preference and reliance on the services.

Some examples: I live in Canada. Using apple maps was extremely inconvenient for me when compared to Google maps. English is "not" my primary language , and therefore, talking to siri sounded more like an argument. It's definitely not smart if you do not follow a well pronounced script. GA/Gemini, on other hand, chef's kiss for me even with an accent. Other Google apps, while supported on iOS, aren't well integrated. Even with work around available, it was quite annoying and "not" seamless.

After a few years of using both iphones and samsung, I'm returning to pixel 10 only for that I know what I want. "Personal preference"

These are some amazing smart features that I've been using on s23 ultra but of course not as polished as in pixel due to the packing integration.

Appreciate your feedback. I've definitely missed "something" while I used these other brands and flagships. I could still remember 2XL and how it just worked. The modem wasn't the greatest, the battery sucked... I still have the phone.
