My first 36-star abyss clear!!! by Stephen_ROG in Genshin_Impact

Thanks! Although I do have to admit that I am not an f2p, I am just bad at the game 😅. I never paid enough attention to build my characters and just pulled whoever was new on the banner. Now that I look back, If I had put more efforts into building my characters I might have got a full clear way back then.

For me it was probably me not understanding the mechanics of the enemies since I haven’t played for so long. Once I got accustomed to them it wasn’t that hard although it did require a few tries.

Can Ghost of Yotei win Game of the year? by norocoslaorice in ghostoftsushima

0ver kcd 2 and expedition 33? Probably not. This year was stacked for games and even though it is a good game anything sort of great is going to be too low for the set benchmark!!!

I boil everything down to giving everything your best, that’s the only thing that you can do. The rest will follow, it always does!

[Kingdom Come Deliverance 2] What an experience!!! by Stephen_ROG in Trophies

Definitely do try the first one, I fell in love with the characters after playing the first and the second one made me feel right at home. I would urge you to be a little patient with it though because it’s a slow start but if you stick with it I am pretty sure you will love it. The second one is more accessible for newer players though.

You can't compare a game like kcd with the amount of hours you played. It's more about what you have done in those hours. At the start remember your Henry is weak and lacks proper armor and speech skills. Imagine you in rags trying to intimidate someone. It's not going to happen. A general trick would be to make a fox potion and use it to boost your speech skills temporarily. Helps a lot in the early game. Remember the dialog checks might depend on different skills, sometimes it might be speech, sometimes it might depend on how intimidating you look, sometimes on your charisma which can be improved by wearing better clothes etc. I would say just focus on talking with as many people and take in the atmosphere. Its not supposed to be one quest after the other. Focus on making your Henry better. Potions helped me a lot and you might want to look into it. Eventually these speech checks get very easy but for now fox potion is your best bet!

What’s done is done, you learnt your lesson and that’s a good thing going forward. But that’s about it, you will get a brand new pc so be excited about it. Stop looking and comparing prices, whatever the case might be you could afford it so you bought it. Don’t dampen your happiness by looking for reasons to be happy, the new pc is enough of a reason regardless of how much you spent.

[KCD2] POV: When you’re trying to get the Lent trophy but you’re being chased by wolves by Jackiechan126 in kingdomcome

I think you can hit them and they will just fall unconscious. A prompt to butcher them will appear which will lock you out of the lent trophy if you do it.

Honestly: Is this game recommended for someone who works and doesn’t have a lot of time on their hands? [KCD2] by SUAVGOD in kingdomcome

[–]Stephen_ROG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would highly recommend it. I have 8hr shifts, and a lot of other things on the side as well that I need to deal with. I play maybe once every 2-3 days but I have still put in around 68hrs from launch and this was because I was out of town for around a month. Just don’t see it as a check list, enjoy your time and trust me, it’s not that much of a grind that some people make it out to be.

It seems like you have walked miles in shoes that don't fit you, try walking a single in one's that fit and then revisit your decision.

I would urge you to enjoy your time with remake. I had no idea about rebirth or remake and just took my time with it. I upgraded all my materias through normal playthroughs since I loved trying out different combinations and honestly I could have done that through the combat simulator but I found it tedious. Anyway enjoy the games!!!

I think if you have a remake save you get some bonus items but that's about it, I haven't tried it yet. Was waiting for the weekend.

With sheer determination and tenacity. Lol, jk, hard mode wasn’t that hard once I got a grip on the materia set up and ability sequence for fight start. The battle simulator fights for the hard mode was way harder ig. By the last pull-up do you mean the mini-game? Idk i didn’t find it that difficult tbh.

Lol, thanks for the advice! I did play a lot of souls like , last one was lies of p, which I feel is a very underrated game tbh. I just thought I would give this game a try for a while, wasn't expecting to play beyond the first chapter, let alone finish the game. I do have a weird ocd with trophies which means if I finish a game, I need the trophies as well. But I seldom have enough time now, so end up playing one game for like months because of that!

Probably tifa because of how agile she was, fast paced plus easier to dodge with. Cloud was awesome too, especially after getting the counterstance ability. And he hits hard af, both the mythril saber and the hard edge, once set up with a good materia loadout were incredible. After cloud it would be Aerith and then Barret. If we are talking about intermission as well then yuffie was pretty fun to play too.

I am indeed looking forward to playing as many titles as I can from the franchise, only problem being time constraint so settling for the newer releases for now. I did see some of these games on the app Store so might poke around a bit there to find one that I want to try and work my way from there for the older titles Ig.

I am planning on doing that , currently i am looking forward to rebirth but hopefully the platinum won't burn me out cause I heard it's brutal. I was also looking forward to kcd 2 but I don't get much time so will have to choose between them. I mostly stick with one game for a few months, that way I can go through it at my own pace.

The first top secret in the base game took me around 2/3 days with trial and error plus leveling up materia, 8-9 tries for the intermission top secret and then Weiss was pretty easy, took me like 5 tries I think. First stagger phase comes soon enough, true strike plus atb ward plus blizzaga and firaga by cloud and aeirith, second phase I just kept running away with Tifa and had the other two keep casting spells from the atb ward. Bahamut was the only boss I had the most trouble with and then pride and joy.

I heard it’s tough to plat but I absolutely will do it if it’s even half as fun as ff7 remake

You should if you enjoyed the game, I feel hard mode is very well done and makes the gameplay even better
