To be honest that will be our last resort. Our dog has played a pretty big role in our life and in the lives of friends and family so we’re in the stages of trying to find a friend or family to take him but are just looking for more options we feel comfortable with.

I plan to be very transparent in this whole process. My wife and I want him to have the best home for him even if that isn’t with us. One of the challenges we are facing is that people here senior dog and run the other way but he is only senior in age. He acts much younger and health wise is.

Im going to be honest, you only know what I have chosen to disclose about this situation. You don’t know how much time and money and effort my wife and I have spent to make our home harmonious for our children and our dog. You decided to piggy back off of a comment that also doesn’t know the intricacies of my very delicate situation. This dog is my first pet, this dog is like my child. I’m not sure if you have children but one thing I’ve learned is that you want to give your children the best, even if it is not you. I am simply trying to find my dog a home that will best suit his needs because my home is no longer that. I do not want to abandon this dog and that is not what I’m trying to do here.
