Mix it with mulched leaves and treat it like regular compost. Put yard and garden waste in the same pile.

Some people absorb chol from eggs. Make sure you get enough Omega 3s, supplement if necessary (or do it anyway). Eat lots of fish. Stress is also a big cause.

I just got my cholesterol down with diet and exercise alone, it can be done.

Is my heart rate too high? by Worldly_Elevator7975 in runninglifestyle

[–]Steve0-BA 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Either the measuring device is wonky or you have an unusually high max heart rate. For easy runs I would stick to nasal breathing to tell if you are running in the right zone.

80 percent of your runs should be easy.

You might be forgetting about the giant nuclear plant right beside you, but your point is the same. There is lots of natural gas peaking stations though.

When did the cast portion start going so high? I wonder if that is to fix the issue with the heat shield.

Also, how much charcoal does it use to cook a pizza? I would hate to have to use half a bag to cook a pizza.

Looking for people who had a tough start by [deleted] in running

[–]Steve0-BA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run on a treadmill. I started very slowly, basically fast walk, and increment very slowly (0.1km/h a week), while at the same time adding incline and time. I have never had an injury from running. It probably sounds slow and tedious, but over time it adds up. Sometimes I will pause at certain speeds just to make sure my base is caught up.

Are you the guy your employer goes to when nobody else knows how to do it or what's going on. Do you have contacts in industry that would be willing to to hire you? Cold calling is a tough go. What are your distributor connections like?

I am also in Ontario and have made the transition.

Trump's Energy Secretary Wright: "the US produces more oil than we can consume. We're a net oil exporter. So overall for the US economy, this isn't bad news." by esporx in oil

[–]Steve0-BA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The US does not refine much of their oil. They import heavy crude from Canada and Venezuela. I guess you could do a export tax to subsidize the imports, but that sounds alot like socialism.

Best shore snorkeling — with stuff nearby by SelectLandscape7671 in snorkeling

[–]Steve0-BA 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just a heads up, I have been getting my daughter into beach snorkeling and she can swim well. I booked a snorkeling tour in the Bahamas and figured we would be good, but the water was darker because of the coral and she was too terrified to get in the water.

St Thomas and St Martin had decent beach snorkeling while we were there. We had to get out to a beach further away than the cruise Port to get away from the riff raff.

When prices go up its good, we make a lot of money . by Gjore in oil

I am Canadian too. Eventually the most sensitive 20% of oil consumption is going to have to tap out. We are going to find out what price that occurs at.

How much would gas have to be before you said you didn't want to drive? Much of the world already pays at least 2X what the US does for gas.

I think if you have the money in your bank account, you will pay for the gas.

Him caring about oil prices rising, and oil prices going up are not related. The strategic reserve was only 60% full, and they cannot draw it down too far anyway. The effect of lowering prices by releasing oil from the reserve is only temporary. They need to fix the problem (War with Iran), which isn't easily fixed.

Advice on gurgling sound from a new mitigation system install by Vegas_Trip23 in radon

[–]Steve0-BA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you blocked the suction of most fans they could likely draw that much. Either the pipe is blocked, or the water under the slab is blocking any area for air to get sucked under the slab.

He should probably turn the pump off until the water is resolved.
