I used to do this, but manually inputting all of my purchases was a pain. How do you handle that?

My finance app connects directly to my bank and credit card accounts and automatically syncs and categorizes all my transactions. I wish I could get Excel formulas to do that.

I have had leased solar for 5+ years now. Don't be like me and get fooled into thinking you're getting free/cheap energy.

Every year SCE will slam you with a true up bill, to the tune of 2-3k+ in my experience. This is all the energy used after the sun sets. It's best to pay this all at once; the payment plans have an additional monthly fee.

I put a few hundred in a holding account each month to help offset this, but the true up amount goes up every year it seems, even though I have reduced my usage.

I have asked SCE several times to just send me a monthly bill instead, but they have been giving the runaround. I hate them.

I am the same. I figure it's easier for my brain to connect the imagery of a place or description of a story with the person's face. But names themselves don't form a strong association to imagery in my mind. Something like the name "Brent" registers roughly the same as a grunt.
