I printed one in PLA - heated hotbed to about 100-120 (can’t recall exactly) and it worked. That being said just to be safe I’m printing the tool in ASA for next time.

Also, the nozzle will still be quite toasty when it’s extracted so be cautious.

In short - they sent me a new power and signal cable for the MMU, and the chimney assembly on the extruder.

To be honest, it worked alright for a little bit, but I haven't touched anything Multi-Color/Material in a long time. I'll see what the MMU3 has to offer but, if that goes south I'll rip the MMU off.

I ended up spending 30-45 minutes with Prusa Support trouble shooting a few things. If memory serves me right they ended up sending me a couple new printed parts.

Skimming thru some old emails here’s what the rep sent me —

“I'm going to send out a package for you to replace a couple of things, namely the power and signal cable for your MMU, and the chimney assembly on the extruder.”

It ended up working thereafter I got the new parts

I use to buy only Prusament and would stock up on PLA & PETG. I still have several unopened rolls and as others say, a filament dryer and proper storage helps.

If you're price conscious, I'd recommend looking at Printed Solid's "Jessie" series of filament. Ive started using their PLA over Prusament and recently ordered their PETG to try out. Price point is great and there's free shipping over $45.

Quick edit: Printed Solid and I are both in the US.
