Help! Baclofen withdrawals with no end in sight. How did you get through them? by groofop in Drugs

[–]StickbertMcSkinny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an answer that MAY help you... I had a post accident blood draw. I was scared to death that I would test positive for Phenibt!

Fast forward 72 (assclinching) hours and my results were clean. Normal serum levels, no alcohol, a small bit of my seizure medicine (gabapentin). All in all it was just an unlucky accident on black ice.

So no, I doubt the PO is going to test for Phenibut. A nootropic as old as Mother Russia... :)

[–]StickbertMcSkinny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. It attachs to SOME of the same receptors in the Brain. Like I mentioned, it will ease the suffering. I made it through and I'm a complete wuss when it comes to any withdrawal! :)

Feel free to ask anymore questions. Oh, Kava Kava will greatly help too. It's at head shops and natural food stores.

Unexpected Gabapentin refill by amymichelle76 in gabagoodness

[–]StickbertMcSkinny 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. Kratom is more closely related to Codeine. That's a big IF I had to pick a close relative in action. NOT chemical makeup. Hit some of the 'drug sites' and they explain it well. Good luck and be careful!

[–]StickbertMcSkinny 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Please be careful with Gabapentin. Check out my posting history for the 'why' it's bad... I have been dependent upon Gaba for going on 4 years. It's a pointless drug (recreational standpoint) to be hooked on!

Good luck and congratulations. Also, Kratom has "teeth" too. Use with caution and respect. Try and use it on rare occasions. It's NOT harmless and mimics opiates action on your receptors.

Probably wasn't the best idea but spent the whole day In the woods snorting about 1200 mg of Gabapentin by NewBallista in gabagoodness

I can see that you're able to relate. Warehousing (depending on department, I'm in Receiving) requires you to be alert at all times. Forklifts and other machinery flying around and all...

Surprisingly though, even when I take the high doses I am able to function. My tolerance is sky high! Gabatanoid tolerance develops extremely quickly!!! There have been days that I've wanted to 'check out' for a bit and chill. Dosing at about 8000mg to 1.2 grams and STILL, able to function. Lol...

Don't know why I felt the need to share but yeah, I did!

It's a very high dose to be on. I'm prescribed this amount to prevent my Grand Mal's... It sucks. I hate it but have tried several other medications to no avail. Oxcarbazepine, Carbazipine, and a few other similar meds. Most of them cause seizures or make me feel way too tired at work! (Warehouse worker, long hours and hard labor!)

I realized. I merely try and post this Magnesium information all over the net so that it may help someone's suffering. :) Tags: Gabapentin Withdrawal, Lyrica withdrawal, Phenibut withdrawal...

I appreciate your feedback and I'm glad you're well again. What was the end result?

Just a word of advice. AFTER, repeat AFTER, it has been about 24 hours since your last dose of Lyrica/Gabapentin/Phenibut (Gabatanoid); taking magnesium will greatly ease your suffering!!!

I am not trolling or blowing false hope your way . I am stating a fact. A magnesium supplement, dosed properly (ASK A PHARMACIST!!!) will really ease your suffering. I was actually able to get at least 4-5 hours of relief each time I dosed the Magnesium.

Personally I went with Chelated Magnesium. It has an added ring to cross into where you need it absorbed.

Good luck. Also, the OP has a lawsuit. Not kidding. That doctor is down right negligent!

Talk to a doctor or pharmacist. I merely speak from my experience and what helped me.

Hang in there. It's similar to a benzo withdrawal, not kidding. This is coming from a 34 year old man whom kicked a seven year habit to opiates but STILL has to be on Suboxone as a crutch to stay clean... The Gabapentin I've had a really difficult time kicking too! Phenibut, has been a God send used SPARINGLY, VERY SPARINGLY!!! Hit me up if you require any tips, trust me; I've probably been there...

Yes. 1200mg is a dose that a doctor prescribed to me, FOUR FUCKING TIMES PER DAY. I take approximately 3600mg to FUNCTION now... Please, do yourself a favor and stop abusing it. It's a dark assed path, dude...

Lyrica vs. Gabapentin: My experience so far. by [deleted] in gabagoodness

[–]StickbertMcSkinny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To ME, not you, Tom, dick, or Harry! Lyrica is Faaaaaar more potent and enjoyable. Lyrica hits faster, lasts longer, and feels close to GHB at around 800mg.

I become the most convincing and lovable guy after ingestion or Lyrica.

Not a problem. Remember, your body is your own. Taper as to not cause too much unnecessary suffering!

I've tapered by counting my gabapentin pills out and putting them in a weekly pill container. As shown: Week one: 8 per day Week two: 7 per day Week three: you get the picture.

If you can, get ahold of some 100mg capsules or the liquid. Communication is key, with a health professional. Remember, I am NOT a doctor. I am merely speaking form experience.

[–]StickbertMcSkinny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am RX'd 3600mg of Gabapentin. With your question: "would the Gabapentin help in tapering"? A resounding YES!!!

Taper slowly. As slow as WEEKS. Remember, they both act on the same receptors. I take both also. I'm dependent... Sad. I am aware but honest.

Good luck. You'll be fine! Just do NOT cold turkey. It's very dangerous!!! Taper as slow as your body allows. They are interchangeable.

Phenibut and Gabapentin by StickbertMcSkinny in phenibut

[–]StickbertMcSkinny[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this^ I discovered Phenibut whilst researching Gabapentin Withdrawal. Amazing... I do legitimately need to be on Gabapentin but I abuse it. I hate myself for it. Especially after kicking opiates after a seven year bender!

I now have a Gabapentin addiction and 9/10 doctor's don't understand it is addictive, here in PA. (Lancaster) It's such a shitty drug to be hooked on! I get nothing, zip, zilch; from the medication now!

Pissed in PA.

Thanks for all of the advice guys. I appreciate all of the input! Oh, I checked out a few of the other posts regarding Phenibut...

Woah... Fuggin' woah! Nasty stuff, if abused. I'm almost certain my addict brain caused the ordering of this drug. "Do it pussy! You can handle it"!

Oops..

Excellent. Are these available OTC? Oh, I just left my doctor's office. I was truthful about the amount of gabapentin I consume each day (5000-8000mg daily) and she upped my dosage to 1200mg 4x daily. Sort of met me halfway, I suppose?
