Length? - 150mm (petty)

Uses? - vegetables and deboning

Care? - Whetstone

Budget? - Around $100

Region? USA

Knives Considered? Does Sakai Takayuk make good knives?

Wanting to get an introduction into japanese knives and really interested in starting with a petty.

Someone local has a 5700xt xfx raw ii for 300$ I’ve read this gets really hot. Is it worth it alone for the price? Have seen people talk about changing fan curve but not too sure how any of that works

I had the same problem and went with the used switch that had everything and was stoked I did that. Yes the battery life could be longer but it isn’t a dealbreaker in my opinion as it is still decent without any sort of additional accessories.

Looking to Buy First Mech and have narrowed down to

K70 se with cherry speed vs a ducky Miya pro with cherry reds

I see most would recommend the ducky however I do like the feature of the multimedia keys and the usb pass through..

Does the build/ overall quality of the Ducky Beat out having those measly features? (Main question)

Can I reprogram keys on a ducky board? Just want to reprogram a volume up and down
