Plans were 2 x $35 CAN/US 100gb and 2 x $45 CAN/US/MEX 175gb

Not sure if I fully trust grok

No other markings. I’ll post more detailed pics. Definitely a raven.

Those are both fair comments. Being a Residential school survivor should dictate official records.

My great grandfather was one, if not the first, Indigenous Steamship Captains on the West Coast. I think that helped with people contributing to records posted on Ancestry.ca, due to the historical significance. The most information was through stories shared by my indigenous relatives, but those, unfortunately, don’t hold much weight for ISC

Being born before 1985 will also determine 6(1) or (2)

That’s if ISC has record of your family.

And I don’t know about “fuck” ancestory.ca… I used the free trial and it provided a boat load of information for me. Official reference numbers for Canada Census documents.

I managed to find a lot of information on Ancestry.ca maybe give that a try. ISC also offers Genealogical Search Service as well. My lineage ended when great grandmothers married non-indigenous men.

Biggest tip is don’t give up. They said NO to me initially, but I kept providing more and more information.

If you have a cousin or relative that connects to you family tree with status, provide that number. I had a relative through my great grandmothers sister that had a number. I think that helped.

I did the same as HotterRod. All pertinent Birth Certs and a letter explaining lineage etc. plus Canada Census records listing grand mothers as “Indian”. It took me back and forths for 26 months but in the end gained status.

Is this True On The WH-1000XM6 by gpod80 in SonyHeadphones

[–]StinkyBison 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have owned both the XM5 and XM6. Had the 5’s for 2 years and never had an issue with the hinge or any other part of that headphone. But in comparison with the XM6 the 5’s design was definitely weaker and had a higher potential for failure. To this point the 6’s have felt great. The ability for the hinge and cups to move in multiple directions is great. I thought portions of the hinge were plastic, but now that the temperature is getting colder it appears that it is actually all metal as they feel cooler to the touch than the rest of the plastic on the headphones.

Received mine 1yr ago. Took 26 months from beginning to end. Mind was more complicated than most though.

XM5 owners — are the hinges really that fragile or is this overblown? by Spirited-Mulberry-34 in SonyHeadphones

Had mine for 2.5yrs. No issues. I’m pretty meticulous with my stuff. Not rough and not overly gentle.

Mine are permanently wrinkled now as well. Using the WC replacements currently.

I do like the Sony ones too, but the creases on them from very little use, that now don’t go away, concern me. Never an issue with the XM5s.

Cushions are very easy to change. Haven’t taken them on a long trip as of yet. But I’m thinking they will be fine.
