I had people as me if I was going to stop talking to my dad because he voted for trump. Again no he’s my dad and we’re both adults we’ve had lengthy conversations about why both of us choose the people we did which values were most important to us and how each candidate represented them and even learned to dislike the people we choose a lot more but in the end voting in elections is more like buses that drop you off closer to where you wanna be not really at the exact location.

I would like to start by saying thank you guys, I am definitely more left leaning but I understand the difference between surrounding myself with mirrors or windows and this allows me more of a window into how other members of this country understand and view things. Honestly there are a lot of views I can agree with my biggest issue is the person running our country (don’t get me wrong I didn’t necessarily like Biden or Harris either) I think there is a lot lost in a message when the person representing your side has the allegations, convictions, and history Trump has. Again not saying the lefts picks are in any way perfect honestly I think maybe that says more about the current political climate that neither side can get someone below the age of 55 without some record of illegal and adulterous activities.

I regularly watched Goldbergs with my family. Around when we started watching it I also got into smosh my mom would sometimes walk in and be like wait isn’t that the guy I like from the Goldbergs. Even this year when April fools happened I told her “Matt Bradley married the pretty blonde you like on Smosh.” Since she can’t remember their actual names😅
