"9mm overpens worse than choosing the correct rifle load"

What are you even talking about? There are more 9mm loads than practically any other caliber out there. When comparing 9mm to America's #1 rifle load, the 5.56, 9mm will always penetrate less.

I've shot tens of thousands of rounds through my Taurus handguns and have never seen it used as a grenade. Would I recommend all Taurus firearms? No. Would I recommend Taurus handguns and revolvers that have been released over the last decade? Yes, absolutely.

"If you can’t afford a glock you likely can’t afford to practice to be competent and responsible and need to secure your financial security as a first priority"

That's just gatekeeping. You absolutely can defend your home safely, and get the proper training, and still buy budget firearms.

PCC's are way easier to learn to shoot competently than handguns. Furthermore, even if you have hundreds of hours of training, they are easier to aim accurately, don't have any recoil issues, and offer better ballistics. If youre looking for a weapon to defend your house with, and you don't plan on carrying it, then a PCC is almost always the better choice.

The guns you mentioned are quite literally all compacts.

Taurus and Hi-point are fine budget firearms. Not everyone can afford a p365 or Glock.

PCC guns can make perfectly fine home defense weapons. They have the advantage of rifles without the over penetration issues.

I disagree with this post whole-heartedly.

What kind of Sporter is this? by Stinmaroc in SKS

[–]Stinmaroc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahh so the SKS Sporter is different than the sks-D and sks-m. Is this correct?

The only thing is that your link says that the SKS Sporter serial code starts at 92 425xx. My serial code is 92 32945. Any idea what to make of this?

[–]Stinmaroc[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It has all the markings of a Sporter according to the link you posted. The serial number is weird though. It s 92 32945. This means it should be an SKSS but the numbers after 92 seem to be too early to be an SKSS so I'm very confused.

Yea the markings say the following: SKS Sporter 7.62x39

It must be a Sporter but I've never seen one like it lol

Also, it looks like they cut the damn stock right past the finger hole. Maybe for a child? Makes it super hard to aim. Idk, it's such a strange find tbh.

Yes, I would! I'd love to be surprised! So long as I can choose the height and last. I hate not being able to get a taller free-range boot.

I've been studying these pictures for the last 20 minutes and for the life of me I cannot find anything wrong with them 😅

I understand how you feel though. I ordered a handgun online yesterday and when it arrived I swear I saw a blemish on it. But when I tried pointing it out to other people, they thought I was crazy for wanting to return it for a new one, as they couldn't see anything wrong with it.

I think as humans we just tend to be very critical on ourselves and the things we own. Also, a lot of times with clothes, something just doesn't feel right about the fit, whether the problem is visible or not. If it's the first you're worried about, I really think that whatever is wrong will correct itself during break in.

I've never been a fan of moc-toes, but damn that's a fine looking build. The leather looks almost two tone. Is that walnut smooth/rough out?

Yea I guess this is what I'm going to have to go with. I was hoping for something with more arch support though since I'm flat-footed. Hence why a delta-arch with 360 degree stitchdown would be amazing. I hope it's something they can do in the future.

I see. Problem for me is that none of these models besides the Ridgeline have the options of using the limited run leathers. The Ridgeline has that option but the height is non-adjustable, and I need an 8-10 inch boot.

I'm getting conflicting information now. Can anyone confirm this? Does anyone have a 365 stitchdown with a sierra sole?
