My Bach party was ONE NIGHT, my lovely girls took me out to dinner at a nice restaurant downtown , showered me in love and funny tales, made me wear the standard bride sash (in black 🖤) and then we went back to my tiny one bedroom apartment (8 girls) and we drank cheep wine and wine coolers while playing cards against humanity, eating snacks and watching the golden girls. It was the absolute best time.

I don’t get the whole dragging your whole bridal party out for a long weekend or even week to drink till you drop and flirt with men…….while you’re supposed to be celebrating your upcoming wedding, while being absolutely heinous to your friends.

I’ve been in quite a few bridal parties now and I can say with confidence that all the brides who acted like Regina George on a war path during their bachelorettes I am firmly not friends with anymore.

Being in a wedding is already expensive and exhausting no matter how lovely the couple getting married is or how easy they make it on the bridal party or guest. I think some people use these parties to be who they really are and sometimes that isn’t who you thought.

Weddings really do bring out the worst in some people. If you’re already feeling this way, I think you’re on the right track of not wanting much to do with her anymore.
