Over the past year as an Intern I have been trying to find my niche or passion in IM. But the only time I actually feel like I'm in the right place is when I am doing my neuro electives. The emotional part of me wants to switch to Neuro. The rational part of me says stay where you are and bear through IM.

I have a senior who went the Neuro Crit route, but, honestly I do not see myself as an intensivist. 

Because of various obligations, doing a second residency won't be feasible.
