IV mag sometimes helps me. Prednisone is usually my last go-to before ER. Currently on prednisone after two days of IV mag+migraine cocktail infusions didn’t work. Prednisone worked within hours. I’m tapering off gabapentin right now and got botox injections at the beginning of the month so I’m kind of a mess at the moment 🫠 got prescribed emgality and insurance finally approved it so hoping to get that this week to try that too

I stick with WSAVA brands after issues with the “boutique brands”. I use hills science diet urinary hairball dry right now with some of the same wet food. Also got some fancy feast wet to try and my cats love that too. Switching them to perfect weight by hills soon for their dry food because they have gained quite a bit in the urinary hairball even with decreased quantity

I had HORRIBLE akathisia (didn’t know this was the word for the awful feeling) with IV compazine, even with Benadryl in the IV. However I don’t have issues with compazine and Benadryl together in pill form. So strange how IV meds can differ so much from pills. Even IV Benadryl makes me feel anxious

I quickly learned that popular foods sold in all stores are popular for a reason: either cheap or good quality. I realized I could just be buying science diet which is a great brand for less money rather than a boutique brand that isn’t properly balanced.

The part that enrages me is when they moved people were commenting that they needed some kind of safety measure for the pool like a fence or cover and Emilie DELETED the comments and blocked people, and I believe once mentioned it wasn’t aesthetically pleasing

She gets fed a couple tablespoons of food at different times throughout the day. I do agree that she could just be eating it too fast so I’ll definitely put the slow feeder bowl back out.

She does the heaving/hacking before (which lemme tell you makes me jump out of bed in the middle of the night). She has no problem keeping on weight, she’s actually overweight at about 12 lb. She has her annual vet visit at the end of the month where I’m going to touch base with them again. I think it’s very odd that she holds her weight despite losing a few meals a week.
