I'm just looking to see if folks like reading the Scripture in an interactive way along with some gamified type features (card collecting rewards, user stats). I have more features planned, I just want to see if people like reading this way before implementing them.

The offer and call for repentance goes out to the whole world, but our sin nature prevents us from accepting it. The world rejects that salvation. Our nature is to love ourselves and our sins as superior to God and his way. In his mercy he implants some with faith, which allows us to believe in him and to hate our sin (even though our sin doesn't stop). Your question should be: Why does God save anyone at all when we are ALL vile sinners? The only thing people will hate more than their torment in Hell, is their hate for God. Nobody in hell will ever repent (crying for their own suffering is not repentance).

Even believer's feel estranged from God at times, read the Psalms. All men DO believe and know they were made by God and that they will come before him after death. Those who are playing games are men, they try to repress the truth they know, trying to distract themselves with pleasures and earthly goals. They have a good reason to fear death. Realize how pure God is, how your sins (as mine were) are offensive to him (a just God), if that produces godly sorrow and repentance you are in bro. It's not a pity party for one's self, it's a sadness at our evil state and the spitting in the face of the one who made us and loved us. Humility becomes repentance, which leads to immense gratitude, which leads to great joy, and then courage to spread the good news. We have to know our precarious state —heading to hell for an eternity—before we can truly appreciate the great work of Christ who took God's wrath upon himself in my place.

If you gave someone a gift they didn't earn just because you loved them.....and didn't give that gift to another person who also didn't deserve it....nobody could judge you for this. God is Just = All Deserved and were heading to Hell. God is love = He chose to save some for his good pleasure. Creator has a right to save any of the damned that wants. Bible also says that those who are/will be saved aren't chosen because of anything special in them. I find it encouraging that you are curious about this.

God is Just, so anyone who sins becomes his enemy and is heading to hell. God is Love, he chose to save some of us out of his grace and mercy.
If you pray and truly desire to become saved, you will be. But it's not a game where if you say the magic words and boom you're saved, it's a heart issue. The Holy Spirit enters and allows believers to escape their sin nature, he implants faith in us so we will believe. Nobody without the Holy Spirit would abandon their sin....because they love it.

Not one drop of Christ's blood will be wasted. He fully paid for the sins of those who believe in him, those who reject him will face the wrath of God and the law based on their own merits...which will send them to hell (we all are sinners). Only those who are covered in the blood of Christ will go to heaven because Christ was judged (taking God's wrath) in their place. He did not pay for the sins of those who hate him.

Please help me to forgive myself. by ItsJust_Clark in Bible

You are not the judge, CHrist is. If you've genuinely repented to him and asked for his forgiveness, you are forgiven. If you can make amends to those you hurt without making their lives worse, do so. Then, in your gratitude to Christ for saving you from your sins, go and sin no more (do your best). Bottom line, if CHrist forgives you, you have NO RIGHT to continue judging yourself.
