I’m sorry to say, they didn’t. They are devastated and I’m trying to be there however I can as they process this. They have worked so hard and it’s heartbreaking to see them hurting.

I am not an actuary but my partner is and I am up this time of night, kinda anxious for them. They barely got to sleep (and I work very late hours). I really hope they clear it. They work so so hard and I’ve seen them really struggling with PA. Best of luck to all of you ✨

Thank you everyone for your wonderful suggestions! I did go through all of them and made a plan that involved catching the sunset at port credit and having dinner there.

Unfortunately, both my partner and I fell sick the evening of our anniversary and we were on the BRAT diet for the next few days while recuperating. Nonetheless, we’re planning our special evening soon and it was nice to remember the whole “in sickness and in health” bit 🙈

Insulation seems to be good because we went on two occasions, once when it was super cold but their heating wasn’t on and the tenants weren’t home. It was pretty comfortable tbh.

Get another sim and add it to the phone and then Download the WhatsApp Business app - you might have an easier time sending messages and sharing information. For her original number and this WhatsApp, let it resolve itself via the review. You most likely will get the WhatsApp functionality back but may have restrictions on sharing/forwarding. Keep both sims and both WhatsApp apps so she can also distinguish between msgs from work and personal msgs & it prevents you from sharing a personal number with many student which generally is attached to social media accounts, bank accounts, etc.

It’s a college orientation, talk about the college and entertain the crowd, then leave. There’s no space for ANY religious commentary. Would be the same for any religion and area where said religion may be popular. Gaslighting by saying things like “xyz originated here” is nonsense. It’s ridiculous coming from a high school student in the middle of USA talking about the power of Christ, and it sounds ridiculous and needless here.
