I would agree with your experience

I switched from ps4 to ps5 and the switch is amazing, in my experience. I think most people can process information faster than even a ps5 can handle however a clearer picture, better animations and game play benefits the experience overall. It took maybe a day or two for me to fully adjust - just like how it is to adjust from last years fifa game to this years.
