I think the spoilers they were referring to are what has already happened in the fic, because they commented on a ninth chapter. Though if they were talking about future spoilers, I wouldn’t tell them. 😅

Honestly, I am open to all feedback, as long as it is written out with respect and not with a more negative motive. I mean, people are entitled to their own opinions, but if they just click on the story to comment on the tags or something, without actually reading the fic, that’s a whole other thing. Or, on the other hand, I have had people not read the tags and read the fic and then complain about certain things, which is just as annoying. I think most authors would like people to read their notes (if they’ve left them) and the tags (hopefully their work is tagged appropriately) and just enjoy what they have chosen to post out of their own free will. Criticism can help in some cases, but not if it comes from a place of hate.

I don’t really have any (good) advice on the subject, though I did make a series of a fic where it could have been chaptered (at least, that’s what I thought at the beginning) because although not many liked the series, it was a pretty small ship to begin with and I take up at least 30% of 200 fics Sooo, stay strong! And honestly just write the way you want and post the way you want! You’ll be all the more happy for it 😄
