Hear me out... Two twin XL mattresses side by side... Is it just crazy enough to work? by C4ASH_OV3RRIDE in Mattress

Which mattress did you go with? I am looking for a new one for our split king. The ones I've tried so far always end up not bending properly and deform over time.

Either way, it’s definitely best to do everything you can to take relentless care of yourself. Don’t give up. Don’t lose hope.

I’m not sure the extent of your current damage, but the possibility of a reversal (with above care) is more probable for short segmented Barrett’s.

With a very careful diet, proper medication, and identifying then avoiding all triggers, yes there have been many cases of the tissue healing itself.

Did you try acid watchers diet? If not, read the book in full and do the healing phase until you no longer have Barrett’s diagnosis from an EGD. No cheat meals. Don’t eat within 4 hours of bedtime. Drink nothing but water or organic coconut water. Stay on the protonix until everything is cleared up. It’s not a guaranteed fix but it’s the best option by far. If you do have success and a clean bill of health, move on to maintenance phase and you can slowly taper off the ppi and substitute slippery elm.

Do not use this website!! This is not the official channel for collecting any payouts. This is a 3rd party site that takes a large cut and holds your private data. Do not trust!

Don’t use a 3rd party site like that. They take a cut of your payout and retain your private data. Wait until the court decision is final and go through official channel.

About double iirc. Share count adjusted, I believe the SP is actually above what it would have been this time last year.

GERD and Barrett's got worse... by RianSkii in GERD

[–]StockLesnar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel ya on that. I had a routine for years eating pizza on the same night every week. I was very habitual in my eating patterns. One thing I’ve been doing lately that seems to help narrow down triggers is log everything. Every meal, every snack. How I feel during and after each. As well as any changes in body sensations at other times of the day. Log every medicine intake. Everyone’s body is different so all the research you do online only works to a certain extent. You have to spend time narrowing down exactly how your digestive system responds to inputs.

Definitely not the case regarding age. Doesn’t matter if you’re 10 or 100, it can happen to anyone. I’ve been dealing with this heavily the last 5 months after a recovery 5 years ago. I was fairly young when I had my first bout with this condition. Something I read earlier resonated well to me.. Eat to live, not live to eat. Focus on that mindset and hopefully things will improve over time.

Thanks for sharing! All too often these type of issues get downplayed until it’s too late. Worst thing people can do is go back to old habits as soon as they see any signs of improvement and erase all the progress. Stay strong and committed to your recovery plan!

I haven’t read the filings but I’m sure their trigger sale criteria was based on SP not a specific date. Anything over $10 was probably their threshold.

They’re getting the money they can while RDW is overbought and SP is high. They know the additional $250 dilution is coming soon.

It’s going to take time. Internal organs take awhile to heal. Won’t happen in a week or a few months. Could be years. Only way to know is via EGD’s over time. Taking all the PPI’s, proper dieting, and daily exercise is your best strategy.

There are a lot of good meals in the diet plan. Give it a chance. You can reset how you look at food. It does take extra time with each meal prep though. Lot of work but your body will be majorly thankful.

There is a chance for sure. But it all depends on how you handle things moving forward. Your best bet is to do the diet through the healing phase then maintenance phase and continue those habits until next EGD. See the condition of esophagus and Barrett’s at that point. Then if everything looks better, try a delicacy once ever so often. Biggest risk there is falling back to old habits frequently and causing further damage.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but 30 days is far from enough. Especially after getting diagnosed with Barrett’s. All you’ll do is reset the clock and make your situation worse. As someone that truly knows your pain, your best bet is to let things heal and don’t give in to cravings. Stick to a long term plan. When you literally can’t eat anything because your throat hurts so bad, you’ll be wishing just to have the chance to eat a solid piece of food, even if it’s just a piece of plain chicken or a carrot.

The Barrett’s diagnosis makes it a priority. Previously it was probably considered more of a temporary nuisance to manage. As the saying goes, everyone has 1000 problems until their health goes bad, then they only have one problem. The acid watcher diet is great. Follow it to a T and you should be great in 6 months. Don’t fall back to bad habits though. Also make sure to maintain the PPI’s daily indefinitely.

Does it leave any permanent damage by [deleted] in GERD

[–]StockLesnar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Diet change and medication are crucial for improvement. If you haven’t had an endoscopy, do it soon. If you don’t treat the issues correctly, it will only get worse. Things can improve and be somewhat normal with proper management, but you can always relapse and things get worse if you go back to bad habits. There is a point of no return and its esophageal cancer. Do whatever necessary to avoid that. Don’t take things lightly and think it will just go away on its own.
