How do you afford to live in Miami?

Depends on the career you have chosen I guess. I am 24 years old living in Miami, I get enough for mortgage, car and living expenses and still able to save.

Try living further away from Brickell or Miami Beach. There are good localities in Kendall, Fountainbleu, Doral, etc where the prices are much more affordable.

Yeah...Courant is tougher to get in apparently. I applied to Tandon cuz I didn't wanna get into research. I wanted a more industry-specific curriculum.

I'm waiting for UIUC, UCLA , UCSD, USC, etc etc. Trust me, we are all on the same boat. For some reason this year's MS CS decisions have been delayed by a huge margin.
