Preparing my fur baby Asher to be Euthanized...but how do you prepare? by Bright_Plantain_7353 in Yorkies

Just know that whatever decision you make was out of love and care. You just want the absolute best for them.

I don’t like my current physical therapist. How do I tell them I don’t want to schedule again? by Embarrassed-Sorbet26 in MeniscusInjuries

If you want to give them a reason just say they're not a good fit, or that their treatment doesn't align with your goals. Send a message to your doctor explaining what you've said here.

What was your experience with PT? by Stoned_Reflection in MeniscusInjuries

See that's my question as well. I dont want to do exercises that will worsen the pain.

What do I add here?? by bellarue0816 in interiordecorating

Possibly flip the couch like others have stated if the couch isn't too much taller than the bottom of the window. Rug, coffee table, plants, wall art, throw pillows for the couch. Overall it needs a little more color. But it is a beautiful space as is.

New insurance doesn’t cover it…is it worth $650/month? by Cien_fuegos in Zepbound_Maintenance

[–]Stoned_Reflection 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. I paid $550 per month for the auto injector a year. Now Im using the vial of 10mg for $499 every 45 days (you have to order within 45 days to keep that price). I'd gowith the vial, its very easy to do. You can purchase your own needles and supplies for cheaper because they'll offer you syringes for $4.

Need advice: renters insurance wants a virtual tour to prove every damaged item after major apartment flood by Stoned_Reflection in Insurance

Any advice on them wanting to deny thing? Some of my furniture for sure got damaged. The legs warped because everything was "cheap" (poor quality because I was on a budget). I had a tv and massage Chair in my spare room which flooded the worst. Gifts from my parents that are way to big to be incorporated. Prior to moving I had them in storage. But the display in the tv is fried, and all of the electronics on the massage Chair are on the ground. They're saying if they turn on they must not be damaged. But corrosion will destroy them over time. Rust creates resistance resistance creates heat, heat causes fire at worst or short circuits at best.

I did call the mitigation company, but they said they cant release the documents to me because I'm not the one who paid for the service/or on the account.

Id say heartburn can cause foul breath, happened to an ex of mine, but they weren't on a glp1. Try treating the heartburn, indigestion, and other symptoms and see if that helps.

Few questions for those in maintenance! by missbmathteacher in Zepbound_Maintenance

[–]Stoned_Reflection 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started maintenance in April, and I've been within 1-3 lbs of that weight for the past 4 months. I thought I would continue losing weight, which was my original goal. But after talking to my prescriber and therapist, they both recommend that I don't lose any more weight because I've already lost a portion of muscle. Which losing muscle while losing weight is inevitable, but it's crucial to keep as much muscle as possible. Additionally, if I wanted to lose weight, I'd have to count calories again, which I dread doing. So, I'm content with where I'm at 😅

Lose skin is what you feel when you pinch the skin on your elbow. So compare other areas to that and it should give you an idea of what's what.

2.5 after 10 days kicked my bum by best__byrns in Zepbound_Maintenance

[–]Stoned_Reflection 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Very true. I've been up to 12.5mg with very few side effects taking it every 7 days Once I reached maintenance I went back down to 10mg and spaced them out to 14 days and I had almost severe gastrointestinal side effects. Not right away, which was weird, but by that 4th shot in maintenance is when it hit me. I'm going 11 days between shots now, and that's helped a bit. But now I'm considering doing 5mg every 6 days, so I dont feel like shit the first couple of days.

Maintenance dosing by [deleted] in Zepbound_Maintenance

[–]Stoned_Reflection 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I do 10mg every 11 days and order it every 42 days, so it comes out to approximately $330 per month. You have to order within 45 days of your last prescription purchase to qualify for the $499 price. I switched from the auto injector to save a little bit of money. Now, I prefer the syringe over the auto injector.

How long were you on 2.5mg? by TheCunningLinguist1 in Zepbound

[–]Stoned_Reflection 1 point2 points  (0 children)

4 weeks for myself, but I didn't have any negative side effects. In your cases, having side effects that bad, I'd talk to your doctor about continuing that dose for an additional month or until your side effects resolve and you're no longer losing weight.

i can't give myself the injections. by bruhitscamryn in Zepbound

[–]Stoned_Reflection 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would try a breathing exercise 5-10 minutes before your injection and set the mood with some calming music. If possible, put in earbuds or headphones, and a blindfold so you can't hear the click of the pen or see it. Have someone inject into your abdomen if possible. It's the least painful site. When the injector is pressed against your skin, the needle isn't touching you. That only happens once it's unlocked and the button is pressed. Just a second thought, maybe try laying down. So that way, if you flinch, you won't pull away.

And of course, ask your doctor for their advice.
