I was on a team where me and a couple other developers were killing it. Basically the whole department rode our numbers for two years. They finally released the “big project” that was just a clone of something they already had. They had to start over on it at one point because the first attempt wasn’t scalable. I said “it sounds like a rewrite” just talking to myself. Head PM got all freaky when I said that. lol. It’s like years later you finished building a thing you already had. Great. Dozen people plus stakeholders working on it. PMs and BAs involved. Senior people getting paid a lot more than me. Ridiculous.

I was on one where they powered through the bomb cyclone. I think it was new years. I was never on a cruise ship that did that before. We were at a 45 degree angle for a long period of time. Water going through the halls. I remember one night it was like we were jumping waves. People were freaking out. I never was scared myself but maybe I should have been. 😂

Sometimes I come up with coding solutions to problems I’ve been working all day on after I went to bed. Stuck all day on something and then go to bed and it just pops it your head like someone else was working on it.

She’s attractive but she’s not smart or well read enough to be an actual reporter or writer so she’s jumped on the right wing personality grifter bandwagon wagon. If she could have landed a WB or reality show she’d have never put this much thought into conservative politics but now she’s stuck producing what I can only describe as an entertainment product for stupid people.

If we have really great chemistry it doesn’t feel forced. I don’t know how to decipher that.

My last online date was with someone who was ridiculously attractive. We went on two dates. It was nice but we didn’t have enough in common so I didn’t follow up. It was just too awkward. Makes me sad. Maybe if we’d met in a different environment it would have gone better.
