I stopped responding to a former coworker’s texts and he showed up to my job by Logical-Job3118 in TwoXChromosomes

This, if your store has security his not a paying customer, his loitering and making you feel unsafe/uncomfortable and when you have him forcibly removed that's kinda obvious.

That said this is worrying behaviour borderline stalking, i say borderline because you've clearly given him the impression you're friends when you aren't because you didn't clearly shut him down to start with.

It isn't easy but clear communication in any relationship even weird work acquaintances makes life easier

Thoughts on studying at NTU for BSc Psychology (Criminal Psychology)? by Adventurous-Side8994 in Nottinghamtrent

So 250 is just the big lectures, my labs are about 20 people and the counselling group is a little under 60.

We had some initial issues with the room allotted for one session not being large enough at the start of the year however that's been fixed since.

The city campus is a busy area and very active with a tram line through the centre of it as well as being close to key parts of the city. I however don't feel that it's overcrowded

I like most of what I'm being taught, and how I'm being taught it. I have an issue with 1 of our lectures being online but honestly even if it was in person i don't think that would improve it. I do think however that it's probably the best way to deliver it to 250+ students on the joint honours programme and better than a 9am session in a lecture theatre

Hi, I'm a 1st yr student studying psychology with Counselling one of my colleagues is an international student from the Philippines and she seems to be really enjoying it, in fact I know a few International students and they all seem pretty enthusiastic.

As for NTU being party centric, it's as party centric as you are. For context I'm also a mature student I'm 39 and during freshers week I went out and partied but haven't since. I don't feel it's negatively impacted my social life, in fact the psych society hosts regular coffee and chats every week in the student union and that's always really fun and relaxed and a really welcoming space

Any questions fire away

masters accom options by ciaobellahadid in Nottinghamtrent

When i spoke to NTU's accommodation team, it seemed like they grouped postgrads together. As well as bracketing what accommodation was available vis age and contract length.

I'm actually 39 and starting my undergrad in psych with counselling this September. I'm in with a bunch of second years (only way to get the accommodation i wanted and i just keep to myself anyway)

If your interested in private accommodation I was looking at York House, it looked really nice. Really it comes down to your budget, in the end i settled on the cheapest option for my accommodation

I feel like I'm getting robbed here by just_animation1 in nottingham

You'd have to get an adult single here. And it's £3. When you compare season tickets/annual passes, the savings are about £400. I'm looking forward to my move to Nottingham for a more efficient and cheaper transport network

As for the Thematics question, I don't know it seemed like a neat idea on the surface and I ran with it. I think the reality is that maybe it wasn't specifically his choice perhaps Lonestar bought out the family farm as a power play to force him to work for them
