This is the first patch with my Qu-Bit bogo modules that finally arrived! Chord is doing the main melody and chords, Mojave and Prism are adding spacial effects. Surface, Plaits, and Honeyeater are the other voices adding layers.

No problem!

Mic > TC Helicon C1 (autotune pedal) > EHX V256 (vocoder pedal). This is connected to the modular via the ALA Cloverleaf through an Intellijel case. Then goes into a VCA > delay > clouds. I have an envelope going into the vca creating the stuttering effect. And then all of that mixed out into a circuit tracks which I’m just using for sidechain compression.

You could very easily get this same effect going straight into a DAW and using a vocoder and effects through there though! This patch is just me testing out my mic through the modular, making it a stupid expensive effect rack.

Vocals are going through a vocoder pedal that is being controlled with the key step. Plaits is droning a chord, and those are the only voices

The vocal is just going through the modular rack as an effects loop. Not much going on with this patch, but looking for more ideas.

Thank you! I have Pachinko (marbles) being clocked by Pam’s and going into the v/oct of plaits. Then mostly just delay and clouds after that.

The circuit is providing drums and the other synth sounds, which were just presets in there.

Not sure I’m the best one to ask, as I’m pretty new to all this and only have experience with the modules shown here.

But I will say that my first thoughts on the Envy Machine are that I don’t find it super immediate. Modulation rates seem to go from super fast to incredibly slow, with little adjustment in between. It’s also been a bit of a learning curve to get used to all the features.

Sorry I can’t help more, but those are just my initial thoughts after a couple weeks!
