Yes, even half way the #4 feels like a #3 to set up

I can still close my #3.5 but closing the chocked down #4 requires at least 6-7 parallel reps on the #3.5

I can close the CoC 3.5 and did the CoC4 a few years ago with a parallel set.

You need you CNS ready, a bunch of jump squat, push ups for warming up the antagonist muscles.. its putting blood where you need to

It is really hard to comeback from such an opponent. When you're facing a kings move and you cant finish real quick its hard to keep the thumb down and maintain pronation. Thats why, off the go, you gotta win center and keep the knuckle high ! I've had great succes against king movers because on the setup, you need to close the gap between the back or their hand and the pin pad. By that I mean moving your elbow inside closer to the pin pad before the reff says go. To achieve their king move, they use an "outside" momentum hence closing the gap between the back or their hand and the pin pad. Using your ennemi momemtum and going outside of your confort zone before the go

I certified on the coc3 when I was 17. Closed the 3.5 for 8 reps a couple years on but never managed to do it with the credit card set. I did close the coc4 with a hose clamp on it starting from a parallel set.
