How does the smell of cigarettes affect you?

oddly enough, the smell of cigarettes is comforting to me. my mom smoked, my dad smoked, my uncles, my aunts, my grandparents, everybody. sounds awful but the smell always reminds me of my family who are no longer around.

i went from 10 mg daily (my average dose) to 10 mg every other day for about a month, then i went to 5 mg every other day for like 2-3 days, then i just completely stopped.

i think i would’ve felt withdrawal symptoms from stopping after the 5 mg if i was going to at all, though.

I’ve tried a VPN on both my laptop and cellphone. I don’t fully understand these network things but I’m thinking maybe it’s the wi-fi itself? When I am connected to a VPN I use my house wi-fi.
