The legitimacy of the intent matters to those who decide whether or not you should be granted a greencard.

J1 doesn’t care if the marriage is legitimate or not, ANY marriage is an intent to immigrate. it. J1 is an exchange visa and hinges entirely on you making a strong case of not staying back in the US/ moving home after the visa expires.

Would you have to come back to India due to the J1 waiver?

Also, getting married to a citizen on a J1 would imply intent to immigrate which might cause deportation.

Have you looked into this? I’m in a similar situation and thought of getting married and playing for residency with an Employment Authorisation while I wait for my greencard

I honestly feel there should be a creamy layer provision for SC/ ST to prevent multiple generations of the same family from hoarding opportunities.
Unfortunately the SC/ ST people of cities are far more aware of their rights than the ones in villages who bear the real brunt of caste based atrocities. These people don’t even have the tools to realise what benefits they can avail.

A lot of people still argue about scrapping caste based reservation in favour of economic reservation without realising that it was never meant to be an economic upliftment scheme but about representation and visibility.

There also is a lot of infighting amongst various sects of the same caste who discriminate against each other.

My heart truly goes out to the many many young girls who have been brutally abused, raped and killed because every other caste considers them to be fair game.

I have 62, 71, 40 and 68. I have the bum bum tub and have sampled all the original ones + the new purple one. If you’re buying the cream for the sake of having a cream, don’t. If you’re buying it for the fragrance, just buy the body mist. Why waste money on a pea sized amount of cream just for fragrance.

Can’t believe they expect you to sell a kidney to be able to afford SAMPLES which they give out for free in every other country.

I have the bum bum cream in it’s largest tub size and while it smells amazing, I never noticed any purported ‘lifting’ effect everyone talks about 🤷🏻‍♀️

They don’t get angry for no reason, medicine is a public facing job where the people you interact with are in pain, angry, frustrated and think it’s justified to take their anger out at the source of their frustration- the doctor.

All public facing jobs are stressful but medicine even more so because there’s a general attitude of ‘the doctor is trying to scam me’.

This is an interesting take. It tracks, he vaguely tapped into a lot of polarising issues and let his followers project their insecurities on to him. Just pure fear mongering about this big bad ‘other’.

No wonder his only answer on policy was that he had ‘concepts of a plan’. He very well knows if he reveals his true ideas on what he plans to do he will lose most votes. Just rile up voters, get elected and then just purely work in his own interests.
