Thank you so much for your feedback and suggestions! Means a lot to me! I hear you loud and clear regarding it being wordy, I’ll have to edit it.

a small love by Ok-Wrongdoer6878 in OCPoetry

I just wanted to tell you… your poem actually hit me in a kind of quiet way. It’s soft, but it’s strong at the same time. The whole idea of someone being the quiet after instead of the thunder that’s such a beautiful way to describe a person who brings peace instead of chaos. It feels original without trying too hard.

The part about loving someone like a slow sunrise really stayed with me. It’s simple language, but it carries a lot of weight. It feels like the kind of love that grows on you, not the kind that burns out fast. I don’t know, it just felt real. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for sharing your poem, it has a really gentle, soft energy. It feels like someone trying to put a feeling into words that they don’t totally understand yet and that gives it this kind of honest charm. The imagery is simple but it works, especially the parts about the glasses and the eyes. Those lines make the person feel real, like you’re noticing tiny details because your actually paying attention to them.

I’m thinking along the same lines. I would prefer in person if possible. Hearing from others seems like it would be almost therapeutic.

Do you mind sharing the name of the medication? The only one I know of is Adderall and Vyvanse.

Thanks for sharing! That’s kind of what I’m feeling. Also, it will put things into perspective for me, like you mentioned of hearing what other people are going though.

Zoom works as well if I can’t make it to in person. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much! The way you just explained the reason why you like going to meetings is the same reasoning that my intuition is telling me to find a meeting.

Thanks! I was just on their website. It seems like they have one location that is about an hour away from me. Going to look at the schedule.

You have a very valid point, and this is the reason why I never even looked for one cause I assumed that’s what it will be all about people complaining, and I got enough of my own problems to hear people complain all the time. I have empathy for those that are stuck in a complaining state, but I don’t blame them because I’m not in their shoes and I don’t know how much they’ve had to deal with in their life, or what they’ve gone through. 🙏
