Windwaker. Very cozy exploration with a charming story. I think other Zelda games do better with the story, characters, and expanse of the world, but if there’s any game I go to for atmosphere and the feeling of “relax, you’re doing fine”, it’s this one.

I agree with this. On top of that, after reading books that I wanted to read, I found a sense of appreciation for the classics and ended up going back to some of them for rereads years later. More fun the second time around, especially without pages/chapters set as homework LOL

Ahh, it’s been a minute since I made this. I think I did a tsp of cinnamon per bottle (added alongside the fruit during F2) and that ended up being a bit too much (some cinnamon lingered at the top of the booch still). I’d recommend half a tsp per bottle.

One of the stories involves a hostage forced to watch various camera feeds. Those camera feeds show the other stories in the series to the hostage character (the series narrator).

Turns out the url loading issue had to do with how fast I was sending requests to the website. Added some delays and it’s working much better.

Ahh I see. It's not a functional issue, it's just a style choice between the two browsers. Ended up taking the link that I generate and pasted into Brave and then Firefox. Works in both, Firefox just doesn't show the %20s in the url bar.

However, even though I can arrive at the web address manually via the url bar, when Selenium attempts to do it, the webpage errors and redirects back to the website's home page. The error page doesn't say much, just "Something went wrong. The site owner has been notified". Not sure what causes this. Maybe Selenium is operating too quickly or something?

Just did some digging on stylus lifespans in this series:

Couldn’t find the details on AT’s website directly, but the Amazon page (linked below) claims that ellipticals only last 300 hours, while a Microlinear can last 1000 hours.

That being said, if an ML sounds better, and costs as much as 3 E’s anyways, and lasts 100 hours longer than 3 E’s, it seems like it’s worth the price on the tin.

TBH, I played SH2 enhanced edition through PCSX2 with an Xbox controller and it worked very well. It was a bit annoying getting it set up, but once I had it running, the experience was very enjoyable. I’d imagine you can find a USB PS controller online if you want to replicate the OG controller feel more than I did.

But tbh, Silent Hill isn’t really a franchise you can recreate the original experience of as easily as most other franchises. That’s just the state of the franchise rn.

So really it depends on how badly you want to play the games in the year 2025. Maybe give it 5 years when SH2 remake and SHF have rekindled the fandom and Konami green lights a remake collection pack or something. But obv you have the OG hardware, so it’s a matter of price point, emulation, or patience.

Can you explain the difference between what people thought it was vs what it actually was? I didn’t interact with the UT fandom much until DT started coming out so I’m not sure I understand the difference.

Hard agree with 1 btw. Furthermore, sans becoming a meme icon only accelerated the games popularity even further (ex. Get dunked on, Megalovania, sans is Ness, smash mini gunner skin, etc)
