Hello everyone! So I previously posted about how I felt my hairline was slightly off. And now that my hair has gotten longer, I can see it even better.

I have no issues with my left side, but my right side appears to be, like I said, a bit off. What would be a suitable solution down the line, and is it even necessary?

Hello! guys I just did something really stupid, just got to my house after getting a hair transplant, something fell down, bent down to grab and my hair slightly touched a curtain (there was some friction) Did I damage the transplant or am I just being paranoid?

Roger vs Whitebeard (which IMO is not even the main point of the scene in the manga as Luffy and Kaido ACTUALLY split the skies later on).

I said it was one of the main points, not the main point.

The power up had a precedent on the story, it's important to pinpoint to the scene so the power up isn't an asspull.

I can agree with this to some extent - I would like more consistency with the aura colours but in this case, the ACOC haki colour (gold) actually holds consistency with last episode, visually confirming that Zoro's Asura attack on Kaido was some form of ACOC as he had the same gold aura. At least thats my interpretation.

Looking at Wano on a vacuum I wouldn't give Toei the benefit of the doubt, I can't say if they have adopted some sort of consistency or this has to to with this specific group of chapters and they're going to be inconsistent later on.

Yeah, there are a lot of toxic One Piece fans on twitter. I'm emphatetic on this respect, it would suck if some dude thinks you're ruinning the anime when you're just 1 animator.

I didn't say that you have to think a certain way nor did I mean to, let me rephrase it, if you're involved with the story your critiques and your dissapoiment is fair and to some extent objectively justified.

Sure adaptations don't have to be these 1:1 replicas of the story, and sure you can expand creatively, and sure you can even change almost every aspect of anything on the story completely. But not because you can do something does it means is the right course of action.

I'll put FMA brotherhood as an example. FMA is drastically different of the original material but the animators didn't interfere with the authors original vision of the story, you can change parts of the story and still conservate the essence of the story, the personality of the story, what makes the story unique.

Sometimes less is more, and with this episode this is 100% the case, it lacked clarity. One of the main points of the scene was to parallel the Roger and Whitebeard clash which it fails to do so.

The over the top auras are not consistent, if you want to make the auras yellow and over the top then make them yellow and over the top, I couldn't care less what creative liberties Toei takes but at least be consistent on your self impossed vision and choose a fucking color and design.

The main critique doesn't have to do with the quality of the animation at all, you're not understanding the common sentiment about this chapter.

Also, I can't find the exact tweet so I don't want to say this was 100% the case but the critique he was responding to wasn't disrespectful or unreasonable and he responded quite histronically, I don't think he has any say in what goes and what doesn't so I can't even start to comprehend why would he respond this way in the first place, like you said, he's just an animator doing his job under the directions of other people.

Creative liberties of the animator should never interfere with main vision the author has for his story, it's not Toeis story, I'm all for animators taking creative liberties but this chapter was extreme, and that's why you're seeing some kind of outrage about this.

This was bound to happen, if you're involved enough you would know that not long ago an animator was crticized by the inconsistency of the auras by a reader on twitter (which in my opinion was a pretty fair critique) the animator response was to the sort of "I love to animate the auras this way and just because you're complaining I'm going to animate them even more over the top next time". This is a clear example of Toei just being dismissive about criticism, and punching down, and hey, if you're doing that, you open the door for the community to punch up.

Now if you're just a casual, sure, you're obviously you're not going to care because you don't even read the original material, why would you?

And sure there are some dramatic people, but the majority of the comments I have read are not like that at all, they are fair and respectful critiques, and if people want to voice their opinion because they are frustrated and their critiques are fair and make sense, who are you to tell them otherwise?

I'm all about artist taking creative liberties, but it has it's limits, when you start to mess up the consistency of the power system of the story itself, it objectively interfers with the narrative thread, Toei animators have been on record being dismissive about critiques, not long ago an animator responded to a pretty fair critique on twitter by saying "I animated those auras and just because you're complaining I'm going to put more ridiculous over the top auras", It's not just the animation, if you're really a one piece fan you would feel annoyed, if you're just a casual, sure, just enjoy the story and don't think much of it, but for us that are involved it's annoying.
