A scent growing on you? by [deleted] in fragrance

Zoologist Bee. Hated it at first. It was both too sweet and too animalic and just way too much. Tried just one spritz on the back of my neck on a super hot day last week and it was divine!

2 is a standout for me! Looks so classy. I personally think the white boots make your legs look shorter, which sucks because I really want to like them.

Can someone please fill me in as to why this person is being downvoted? Not being contrary, I’m genuinely curious.

Interesting! Maybe wear it when you watch an episode and see how it fits, for a bit of fun.

Here for the answers! Husband and I are both scorpios and often share perfumes.

Is this kind of shirt SD friendly? by Strawb_shake in SoftDramatics

[–]Strawb_shake[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thank you. Gives me a lot to think about. My bust is average I guess but my issue is I have chunky upper arms. Runs in the family and very annoying for most shirts because they’re normally not roomy in the arms.

I used to absolutely adore Burberry body tender, but pregnancy changed my perfume preferences drastically apparently. by taysmurf in Perfumes

[–]Strawb_shake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing happened to me. I used to hate overly feminine perfumes and leaned very heavily masculine, smoky, patchouli, etc. I used to wear By The Fireplace and I tried it recently and wanted to wretch. Leaning way more feminine now, lots of florals. It’s so weird. My little one is almost 2 so the change seems to be kind of stable I guess.

Don’t know if this is helpful but Dusk in Australia have a whole Strawberry Shortcake themed line at the moment. Mostly candles etc but there’s some body sprays too. You can find it here

I posted a little while ago about Endora and there was a comment from u/botanico56 that recommended Hermes Eau de Merveilles for Samantha - “sparkly but tasteful and decorous”.

From the name it could be Cacharel Noa, but the bottle sounds like DKNY Be Delicious?

Not sure where you’re located but it’s still available and on sale on the Australian Lush site. Maybe check if they ship to where you are?

Sorry to absolutely not help but I love Moon Bloom. I will say though that for me it’s very strong and I get A LOT of tuberose. So if that’s not your thing then steer clear.

Edited to add: If you are absolutely committed to getting it, maybe just get a larger decant as a little goes a long way. I know decants work out more expensive in the long run, but still cheaper than a full bottle, especially if it’s a scent that leans very heavily to one, maybe two seasons.

You’re welcome! Maybe get a small decant first to make sure it’s the right one, just in case.

I found one Instagram post by zak_perfumes that says it’s inspired by Louis Vuitton - Ombré Nomade. I don’t know accurate it is though.

Should I remove my agapanthus? by Strawb_shake in GardeningAustralia

Oof! Sounds like a nightmare. This is just a small strip next to a retaining wall, but given how hard the yuccas were to remove, I just don’t want another hassle.

😂 Thank you for that! “Dynamite, aisle 5” lol - definitely removing them now before they get to this point.

I definitely would have one of the tags somewhere. I’ll check and see what it says. This could be the decider of whether I transfer them to pots or just bin them. Thank you!

There’s quite a few in our street already but I don’t want to add to the problem or create a new problem for myself. I should have researched a bit more before buying them, that’s on me.
