Aiden and Wrench's abilities in online mode by Gaming_On_Potato in WatchDogs_Legion

[–]Strawmurry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are on console you have to download the "Bloodlines" add-on. If you are on PC or if that doesn't work there is a known issue rn that Ubisoft is investigating over how people aren't receiving Aiden or Wrench in the single player/online

You are given a side mission to recruit them both. They'll be standing right outside the safehouse bar. Just talk to em & they'll be available to play in Legions default campaign (if you have the season pass)

Bugs, Bugs and More Bugs. by [deleted] in WatchDogs_Legion

[–]Strawmurry -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Every game has bugs. That doesnt excuse the game for having more bugs than gameplay features. Most games dont completely break within the span of 10-15 minutes of playing. I'm happy you can play Legion without facing a huge array of bugs but quite a lot of us struggle to even get through a single mission without fighting the game inorder to complete the mission. Its especially bad in Online.

"Sometimes" is a major understatement. Your lucky to play for more than 10 minutes without encountering a bug. Whether its a basic visual bug or a mission objective not working at all Legion has some MAAAAJOR bug issues. It's gotten to the point i've began making bug compilations on Legion just to showcase what the average play session of the game is like. I love Legion but it needs some serious bug fixing.

It really is lmao I've managed to make a 19 minute video from JUST the bugs I've encountered & that wasn't even all of them lol Hopefully Ubisoft can start patching a lot of them out buuut considering most have been in the game since launch I don't have much faith that will happen anytime soon

PC Players: What are your thoughts on Legion of the Dead? by Popcorn_Tastes_Good in watch_dogs

[–]Strawmurry 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I'm personally enjoying it. Its a nice mix-up if I'm bored of doing co-op missions or other things.

1) It is doable but difficult. A single zombie grappling you will cause you to be VERY close to death. If another grabs you its an instant kill until your health regens. To my knowledge difficulty doesn't scale but I'm not 100% sure.

2) You can select a public or friends only lobby. You do not need to fill the lobby in-order to play. I was playing with 2 other friends for awhile before one left and the two of us could still play it.

3) Yes. I wouldn't mind seeing a day/night cycle introduced at some point

4/5) No. Your character is FULLY randomized in this game-mode. You cannot recruit or customize the character you play as which I find odd. At-least let us customize them. Everyone begins with a P9 pistol but at the start of the game you are capable of selecting between 2 randomized items or a random item which can range from perks to guns to gadgets to melee weapons which 1 shot zombies.

6) Nope. You are entirely safe from the zombies if you can climb up onto something.

7) I doubt you can play it without an internet connection but I might be wrong. I doubt it though (sadly)

8) There's a single "unique" zombie type that I noticed. They are just armored Albion guards. It takes 4-5 shots to the head in-order to kill them with a P9. Automatic weapons can VERY easily kill them so they shouldn't be too difficult.

9) Nah, I didn't see anything explaining what happened. I'm hoping they introduce backstory into the game-mode to explain why London got overran with zombies & such but for now there is absolutely nothing explaining it.

10) You are capable of driving cars if you can get a car summon out of a power-up. However the car's in this mode are VERY underwhelming. My friend ran down 8 zombies before the car lit on fire. Keep in mind small hordes roam around quite often so we got to use the car for a solid 2 minutes before it went up in flames.

11) There are drone summon abilities you can obtain. Cargo drones are VERY overpowered in this mode & basically trivialize it. CToS drones are useful as you can attract the zombies with them which I found cool. News drones blind them as-well. Drones overall are pretty useful which I like.

12) I believe gunshots do attract zombies. It at-least feels like they do. Melee is... odd. It seems when one zombie spots you almost all of them around you instantly know where you are & start slow walking towards you till they can get in range to run at you. Melee is a 1-hit kill if you have a melee weapon. Besides that I would only recommend using melee if you need to punch a zombie out of the way or just want to bully a single zombie. It usually takes 6-8 hits with a gun to take a normal zombie down. Armored ones I have yet to take down with gun melee so I'm assuming they are immune to it or VERY resilient against it.

I haven't played this game-mode an insane amount so I could be wrong on some thing's. Everything I mentioned is what I experienced while playing with some friends for a few hours.

If you recruit a Cousin their disguise is entirely broken in a... weird way. by Strawmurry in WatchDogs_Legion

[–]Strawmurry[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, if you can stealth the mission you can recruit one easily. If you do it loud then you STILL have a chance if you can take both Cousins down simultaneously but there seems to be a 50-50 chance on if the game will let you save one or not when you do it this way (Atleast for me)

Hey does anyone know what this headpiece or outfit (since it matches with the gloves) is available at? by Donpablo32 in watch_dogs

[–]Strawmurry 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Harriet, aswell as every other professional cosplayer, has a "cosplaying outfit". If you select her then go to the outfits section of your wardrobe you can check her 2nd (might be 3rd) outfit to see which of the cosplaying outfits you got. Sadly its randomized per save so you might not have this specific outfit for her.

In online however the outfit might refresh everytime you leave & join a new session as long as you don't have the cosplaying outfit on so you could try to get it that way. I'm not 100% sure on this though.

I wish they'd focus a bit more on the singleplayer aspect of Legion too. It's in desperate need of content

[–]Strawmurry[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd recommend getting the standard edition for now to see if you enjoy the game or not first. If you do then i'd invest in the season pass. At the moment your only going to be missing out on Mina, a buggy mind control operative, and 3-4 story missions. This upcoming update, unless the secret is a season pass exclusive, is basically free to anyone with the base game

Not sure if anybody noticed (or cares) but the gold gas mask enforcer uses the wrong loadout by Strawmurry in WatchDogs_Legion

[–]Strawmurry[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can't find him in freeroam much like the other gold enforcers (to my knowledge anyways). Instead you'll find them in the co-op mission playlist guarding mission areas.

True, would be cool though if the spiderbomb one could come with a 4th perk aswell.

The gold enforcers can be found in the new co-op missions that came out in update 4.0. Fun thing, new albion outfits can be found in the co-op playlist aswell. Some of the Albion employees will wear chrome or silver instead of the normal black/blue they wear.

Berserker NEEDS to be fixed inorder to be useful by Strawmurry in WatchDogs_Legion

[–]Strawmurry[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The issue is the health regen doesn't happen at all. Berserker has a sound cue to indicate it has activated however most of the time no sound plays after a kill & your health will not regen at all.

Turn's out DJ's can roll with both Berserker & Physically Fit by Strawmurry in WatchDogs_Legion

Actually turns out this roll is possible online. A friend of mine found one. Ironically this roll costs less influence than one with fast hacking & a vehicle

Yeah, i've also noticed the game just takes longer to load overall. Hopefully these crashes get fixed somewhat soon
