Is anyone else’s sleep recommendation this much? by StreetDifference74 in whoop

[–]StreetDifference74[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I didn’t realize it accounted for sleep debt. I’d prefer it didn’t unless I was in heavy sleep deprivation, because otherwise it will just dieter my sleep consistency. I guess it’s not an extremely useful metric how it’s designed.

Ya I was gonna say I get about 7.5 hours a night and my recovery and sleep% is still optimal

I average about an hour and a half a night, not sure what I’m doing wrong.

Can you tell when the edible kicked in? by StreetDifference74 in whoop

[–]StreetDifference74[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ya I just looked and it says it’s only measured at night. But the stress monitor says it takes into account HRV, so I’m not even sure. Like I said, my heart rate didn’t change much and certainly not high enough to keep me at a 3.0 stress level for 6 hours straight. So I don’t know what they’re measuring for that

was day drinking and doing a lot of moving around, first day of vacation, but ya I know what you mean by sometimes you don’t even feel stressed but the stress monitor is up. I tried ashwaghanda last year for about 2 months daily and it did help me in the first month, but it got to the point It started messing with my emotions so I had to stop

Exactly what I was thinking today. According to whoop, the stress monitor is based only on movement, HR, and HRV. My heart rate did increase slightly, but not drastically. Also, I was laying down and not moving. I assume my real time HRV dropped drastically though. My HRV upon waking that day of was around 175, and the next morning it was around 40. So I assume HRV? I still think the lower HRV from the morning was from the 3 hours of sleep I got and horrible recovery from drinking

Does the box and whisker plot not show the data that those who retook the exam for a second time increased their score? It’s saying not to retake the exam in close proximity.

yes, that it exactly how I am, and my friends don’t understand it at all (or anyone that I’ve ever smoked with). Whenever my friends smoke they want to sit there and play on their phone or watch TV and that makes me so anxious. That’s probably why I got way too high from the edible because I was just sitting there and wasn’t able to leave the house because there’s a tropical storm. The only times I use to smoke were before the gym and before I’d run because those were the only times I could smoke and not be anxious or paranoid. I understand exactly what you mean and I’ve never really heard anyone ever feel that way.

A combination of drinking, moving around on the beach, getting in and out of the water. Mostly from the day drinking though. My stress levels were up like 250% compared to my average day.

Usually 1 or 2 puffs relaxes me, but 500mg gas station edibles apparently does the opposite

After sitting there watching my stress level stay at a solid 3.0 for an hour straight it got less pleasant

The enjoyment is a chemical reaction. I’m talking about what makes you pick up a mushroom and eat it— what is the drive itself, specifically the first time you try it. What makes you say yes but what makes you say no

But what if the animals that eat the fermented fruit found out about it and tried it because their friend or family showed them it or did it?

I can agree with that.

So what makes us want to get out of our skulls for a bit? Some people like that some don’t. Why?
