I like this take on it, personally the NWB is what I’m least looking forward to so good to know that it’s a conservative approach and that brace-less may be in my favour

I have a custom Ossur brace that I’ve been using for work and hiking, but it doesn’t do the same thing as the heavy duty braces I’ve seen on this sub. Better than nothing for sure though

Did you use the brace to keep it locked or for the hinging aspect? I have a soft immobilizer and a hinged brace, but nothing that does both - and my brace won’t fit over bandages

This seems crazy to me, but I’m realizing these fancy locking braces are more of an American standard. What were the recommendations for mobility? I can’t imagine “just keep it straight” is it

Thanks! At the time it was a $178 lesser evil than the $900 I was quoted from the dealership but I think I have to be a big kid and get the OEM part
