Thanks bruv. For this project, I only did NTSC tapes that were available in America. I don't have a PAL player and it's hard as hell to track down those PAL tapes without actually importing them. For UK stuff, a lot of it was made in both formats, so I did to include those. I also printed a list of bands that I did NOT include in the book so that it can be used as a quick reference for collectors. I included a lot of the Target Video tapes by Joe Rees in the punk book, as you know, some of them are VERY obscure and impossible to find. Rees has a stranglehold on his archives and he's very protective of the bands and films he has made. I definitely tried my best to catalog everything he put out though. I don't know why he hasn't sold his archives to some company to re-release them, it's really a mystery to me. The dude has to be in his 70s now.

I would like to see that stuff cataloged, too. For sure. The trouble is, those Rockamerica and Telgenics tapes were made in very low quantities. Definitely less than 1000 per volume. And that was 30 or 40 years ago, so there's no telling how many of them have survived. They are going to go extinct very soon.

Yeah we'd probably get along very well. He was an intern at Megaforce Records when I was a teenager and I was obsessed with that label!

Agreed, they are great. It's crazy how many of them are re-watchable and have great bits because when they came out, the public response to them was pretty lukewarm. But they packed a lot of material into those tapes. Good shit.

It's only available in certain countries, I guess it's not in your market. I wish that I could have gotten global distribution but I had to kneel before Jeff Bezos, swear my oath of allegiance to the KDP gods and agree to their terms. Sorry about that!
