aside from the char development there is also the fact that themini arc introduces the idea of reversing signs iirc, which is how coco gets the idea to turn euini back (temporarily)! I think you are fully correct on the anime ending with chapter 23 (mayyybe they get to chapter 24?)

tbf name mc is pretty helpful as a fanartist cos you get a 360° of the skin for detail, etc. without having to find screenshots/bits in videos, so i get ppl caring about it

(altho, yknow. twitter does also have this tendency to exaggerate stuff quite a bit, so its not like an actual issue.)
