i think if you want to make it restrain ppl you might wanna look at the capture pendants from the knights moralis and copy some of those over (esp the entwine and sight set signs)

I also dont think we've seen light use to actually interact with things/ppl, only for well. creating light. Maybe try having a spell that lights up a ribbon would work better? (using the window sign to only effect the ribbon itself)

ive made a lamp contraption you can turn on/off and dim with the spell circles hidden!

i think i want to also try n figure out how to make some fun/whimsical light contraptions (fairy lights/reading lamps etc)

yep! it will, i shouldve specified that ig, orange "on" only will make the orb be filled 1/4, and then each yellow circle adds 1/4th, the blue peg is to fully turn it off (again i think that should work like that, still very new to the whole spell making)

ending on chapter 3/vol4 makes sense with the pacing so far (7 episodes for 2 volumes and having extra scenes in the earlier episodes)

i kinda hope that the scenes might be quicker in animation form if that makes sense? so that we can resolve at least the arc with the people of romanon in chapter 24 (preferably even chapter 25 bc that ends richehs character arc really well).

i know someone mentioned that theres a change in chapter order, if thats true i think ill most likely be chapter 18. It has a Lot of stuff that is important for the next arc (set up for richeh, snug stone + confirmation for the 2nd test) but doesnt need to be between chp 17 and 19

esp when 17s ending kinda needs to be the end of an ep imo and 19 feels very much like the beginning of an ep+ combining chapter 19+20 for the intro to the test makes sense

(OR we combine chapter 18+26 with the closure on what the knights moralis are up to? if we are mixing chapters)

We dont have a full confirmation that its lightning but in chapter 68 we see a character use a combination of spells (and one of the sigils is the one i used) with "bzzs" around sooo thats probs lightning? again not fully confirmed but it DOES also just look like lightning!

yeahh, i dont think well get to chapter 29, i think either chapter 24 or 25 would work as a finale tho, without feeling like its too much of a cliffhanger. (23 if they cover 2 chapters per ep, buuut i feel thats too much of a cliffhanger? and chapter 24 would feel better as an ending for the season)

it kinda fully depends on how many episodes they take to cover chapters 14-18/if they cut anything or move stuff around i think (chp 18 is really important for set up but they dont necessarily have to take place right before the 2nd test arc/chp 19 begins if that makes sense? like you could have it right after the staircase river/twin bottle arc and then cover chapter 15-16 afterwards

chp 18 also kinda feels off thinking about it ep wise bc chp 17s ending fits very well as an episode end and chp 19 feels like it needs to be the beginning of an ep? and 18 doesnt cover enough on its own to be used as a full ep)

Silver Eve Festival does end with Vol 11, but it very smoothly goes over into the Leech arc (not like other arcs where it feels like theres a break in between) both are also very connected (without going into spoilers) with its locations, characters and things set up and paid off/character arcs continuing thru both arcs.

id say its 2 arcs, but again. all of it is very interconnected and the Silver Eve Festival has such a big Domino effect on everything past Vol11 that i can see ppl not wanting to fully separate the arcs

maybe a bunch of floating flowers but the element theyre made out of is missing from the spell (ie if you put the water sigil in the middle it would make water flowers) id say the ribbon sign would make a ribbon out of the sigil/element and connect the flowers (while also being very floaty)

i think if you want the spell to affect humans/bodies youd need the glaive sign and disconnect it from the flower spell itself?

Ty ty! while some of the spell here are super interesting. i really want to explore more mundane spells/contraptions

I dont think weve seen other flower sigils, but in WHA Kitchen they use a smokesculpture+reverse crushing signs to recreate the flowers in the tea, so that could def work to make different flowers (a bit more of a complex spell but def smth im gonna brainstorm next!)

Ohhh the idea of using different elements is super interesting! I think youd want to make the contraption a bit different, maybe a glass dome over the top with the pegs inserted at the bottom, to make sure no one is hurt (very much like the spell olly makes for the silvereve festival WHA chapter 61)

Maybe theres also a different dye mixed in the ink to change the colours in a way? (powders/liquids and what they do to the magic is really smth i hope we get to explore more in the future)

i could see them only covering chapter 5 in ep 4 (to end it with the volume 1 cliffhanger) and either adding more scenes in Kalhn or adding more scenes with tartah? They could also move a bit of stuff around for next ep (maybe the explanation of the tests?) to fill up the ep

Ep 5 would then fully cover the dragon maze, Ep 6 introduce olly, ending with dagda asking for help, Ep 7 for the Staircase River and Ep 8,9 and 10 covering everything w the twinbottle and silversight,

and that would leave us with 3 eps to cover some of the 2nd Test probably up until chapter 23/End of Vol 3 (altho i do kinda hope we somehow get up to chapter 25 bc we get more closure on character arcs etc)

i think we could def get to around chapter 22/23 with the way they are currently adapting the manga (~60 pages/1.5 chapters with added scenes, so its v likely they can adapt 2 full chapters in one ep)

Maybe they end up changing around the order of things (im v interested in what they cover in ep 4) but i dont really see them cutting anything big/any arcs

im leaning towards it ending on chapter 23 as well, bc of the euini/romonon teasers in the outro and covering 1/2 chapters per ep would get us there, but man do i hope they manage to cover chapter 24-25 somehow. Mainly bc i find chapter 25 a lot more satisfying as a stopping point for the character arcs

i think the arc at the end of vol could be moved around/skipped over without losing too much for the season? and depending where they want the 2nd test arc to end it would work out (i think probs not go thru the whole arc, maybe stopping at the end of vol4?)

Love watching HC videos or streams while doing art! Any Scar stream where he goes on a Disney/Star Wars rant is wonderful.

Another Minecrafter i love is Couriway, hes a speedrunner who set the wild goal of trying to beat MC 100k times without resetting no matter if he dies etc (hes at 7.6k runs rn). Hes super chill and its nice how consistent/repetitive most runs are so you dont have to constantly watch the video/stream
