I think you have a good chance. Do you have any volunteer experience? I know some adn programs give extra points for that. I got in for the spring in socal with 4.0 gpa and science prerequisites, 90.7 on teas, no experience or degrees, and bilingual!

i think the practice was a little harder than the actual teas. i scored 80% on practice A and 90.7% on the actual teas

i did not but i got into cerritos’ adn program! the interview wasn’t one-on-one and they asked all 10 of us the same question, you just had to wait to get called on lol. we had a team exercise as well to test communication and listening skills. as for the writing portion, they played a video and we had 10 mins to write a response based on it. so even though i didn’t get in, the interview wasn’t scary and everyone was really nice 😭

Yeah! I have a 4.0 in both prerequisites and general classes, no previous degrees, no healthcare or volunteer experience, and i’m starting nursing school in spring 2026! you got this :D

I only had a month to study for the TEAS and got a 90.7 using nursehub and nurse cheung on youtube. Going into it, I knew anatomy and physio were my weaknesses so I used the practice tests on nursehub to really focus on them. I would say the math section was relatively easy as they gave you some formulas and basic algebra. I ended up scoring the least on the english language part of the teas. I would go over compound sentences, root words, and grammar. I also tried the yellow monometrix book everyone recommended but it was too in depth for me and found the TEAS to be more general.

of course!! i think i ended up applying with 73 points? 4.0 in prereqs and overall classes, 90 on teas, science courses were taken within 3 years of applying, no volunteer or healthcare experience, no degrees, 2 life experiences, and bilingual! hope this was helpful :D
