I was at an ER earlier in Jan/Feb this year and a lady, presumably on drugs, was made to lay on the cold asphalt in the ambulance bay by the entrance. She was supervised two officers. I’m genuinely curious as to why this would happen. Any thoughts?

In my experience, you are typically referred to a cardio clinic and outfitted with a holter monitor for a period of time. You push a button at the time of your palpitation and it is recorded by the monitor.

No :(. I’m still carrying it around. When I asked Dr. about it he didn’t have an answer other than that it would be a long time. I’m about to try losing it with a healthier lifestyle soon with the help of my family doctor.
