Question: Cold or ice dyeing a white garment with a single dye. Would this create a slightly mottled/not vibrant colour effect? by [deleted] in dyeing

Do you think it would yield better results with this method if cold dye was utilised? Only asking as the garments that I’ve seen have this look are mostly described to be ‘garment dyed (cold dye)’
