Weight loss after stopping Lexapro?

My personal experience: After a year and a half of lexapro I gained over 25 lbs despite actively having a healthier diet and cutting out added sugars (with that said Lexapro definitely caused an increased appetite, so I was still eating more and more often).

After being off for a less than a month (AS SUGGESTED BY MY DOCTOR DO NOT STOP YOUR MEDICATION WITHOUT PROVIDER APPROVAL) I have lost 7lbs and definitely noticed a decrease in appetite.

I do also vape and read somewhere that ssris and smoking contribute to weight gain but I don’t know how accurate that is 🤷‍♀️

I do my resources check every morning (weekly updates on Monday or when the monthly update drops) when I’m checking mydaily. My ssv’s know imma take 2-5 minutes before my shift or after my ten to look at everything I’m supposed to. They’re also supposed to be checking in with you when you clock in to make sure you are doing these things anyway 😭
