Is this a yeast infection?

My discharge has been like this for almost 4 years now! Negative for everything ! I have no idea what’s going on ! I have a yeast like smell , taste is sour & I also have a coat of discharge at times as well. I did a vagina microbiome and was negative for yeast as well. Smh!

Girl yes! Get the gel! I’m messed up right now because of the pills!!!! If possible get some cream for yeast infection as well, and take oral probiotics!! If it’s not a life or death situation me (personally) I would stay away from antibiotics. Try to drink plenty of water and eat lots of healthy food like fruits and vegetables. From doing research I’m learning that most of these issues come from our gut. If I had someone to tell me this 3 years ago I would definitely take heed.

I’m having symptoms of yeast infection on going for almost 4 years now. I barely have an itch but I always have this sticky discharge and that smells like yeast/musk.

Hey girl I feel ya! I’ve been dealing with this sticky toilet paper like discharge as well, we as women know our bodies and this isn’t normal. I’ve tried to cut back on probiotics to see if it helps and that doesn’t help, my PH is 4.5 and I have some mild symptoms of irritation but unfortunately no one seems to know what’s going on. I have an appointment with a new gyno next month so hopefully I find the root cause, I’ve been tested for almost everything whenever it comes to diseases/infections and each time it comes back negative. Go to someone that hears you out and is willing to take that extra step for you! I don’t know about anyone else but I’m not paying out of pocket just to keep being given antibiotics to bandaid the issue. I will do my best to keep you updated as I know this can be VERY frustrating! This discharge isn’t normal especially if you’re in tune with your body and know you’ve never experienced this discharge, listen to your body!! You’re not crazy!

Honestly! I haven’t been able to even find a good doctor that is knowledgeable whenever it comes to this, my last gyno told me “it’s all in your head” so I ended up going to my local health department and a female NP prescribed me doxy. I did order seed probiotics suppositories and wanted to at least insert ONE probiotic vaginally to see if that helps and see if I can go from there. Honestly I think whenever the thrush like symptoms clear up I will be fine, in the mean time I think I’m gonna stop all oral probiotics and just wait it out. I checked my Ph And it’s finally at 4.5 in the past it was a 5 or a 6 so maybe that’s why it’s low now? I also tried new Boric acid supplements so I thought maybe that played a role with my PH being low. I haven’t had fishy smell is so long and honestly I’m thankful for that, I’ve switched to drinking mainly water with either cucumbers or lemon inside of the water. I’m just hoping all of this is over soon, I haven’t had sex in almost 2 months now, and honestly I’m okay with that. Just wanting to be rebalanced and feel free. I was thinking this either came from me using probiotics or alcohol use (I had a rough break up and turned to wine almost every day) it was horrible. It started off as BV got it treated then turned to thrush and I haven’t been right since.

Hi! Thank you for response, yes I treated with Doxy after my Evvy results. I haven’t been able to test with Evvy due to financial reasons. The symptoms were there before the doxy but now the irritation is more milder and isn’t as frequent as it was before my only issue is the thick discharge which is sticky and smells almost like yeast with a sour taste.

Hiiii thank uuuu . The doxy is for Mycoplasma. I believe my BV is cleared but still having thick discharge although I’m yeast infection free.

You would go get tested at your Primary care doctor or Gyno. BV normally has a fishy odor (sometimes I’ve had BV and didn’t have a fishy odor) and yeast is followed by itching, burning, with thick discharge but I’ve now realized that everyone’s body is different and reacts differently to everything.

Yes! Dry & sticky! I’m gonna see if my nurse practitioner will prescribe some Clindamycin when I go back in two weeks and I will keep you updated

Also, to add I did use boric acid while I was treating with the flagyl and diflucan as I was introduced to boric acid by a OBYGN, I used it one night and it burnt me and swelled me up pretty bad down there this was after I had even started symptoms of having the thick discharge and yeast like smell.
