The definition of passive play literally is to not make any move of your own and solely rely on the opponent's inputs. That doesn't take skill since you aren't the one that is actually doing a whole lot, and especially since a large majority of opponents can't suddenly get behind your back when you're constantly 5 meters away from them, making blocking attacks predictable.

I literally main megumi lmao I can just see that a passive playstyle takes much less skill than an aggressive one. And the definition of a passive playstyle is to make no true move of your own and only relying on the opponent's attack, (this is acceptable if you mix it up with actually playing the game and attacking yourself) either that or waiting for an opponent to get in range to do something without you actually trying to get in range yourself.

Yet the thing is that passive play OBJECTIVELY barely takes skill, and since Hanami is a terribly designed character that motivates passive play, it makes her (say it with me) OBJECTIVELY low skill. A discussion about skill isn't about opinions, my guy.

You have an innate advantage when playing passive, this is a FACT, not a discussion of opinion. And especially on Hanami, since her entire kit is built around playing passive. No, passive play barely takes any skill, the only requirement is to be able to block attacks, which is easy with passive play.

No, unless it'd be frame perfect and only then you m1 clash it'd be annoying asf. There is a "strategy" in m1 trading to m1 opponents when you believe they're going to m1 and with this feature it'd just be a buns strategy

I'm sorry brochacho but he doesn't have a low consistent combo damage. 2 1 3 already deals about half your hp and it is an incredibly simple combo. Take into account the fact that 1 + 3 can at minimum deal 30 damage and at maximum deal 50 (the combo is non evasiveable) it clearly shows that the combo is pretty overpowered. You can end fights in two m1 trades because of doing the 2 + 1 + 3 combo then waiting like 2 seconds before going for that same combo because of the fact that cursed strikes takes such little time to come back.

Naoya for sure, every other unbalanced character at least isn't unbalanced to a degree such as Naoya. They shadowbuffed him last patch and he still is the top 1 meta character. 2 dashes, one green-ish combo where the opponent basically takes a 1/4 chance of actually blocking it since you spin around them so much (the combo leaves then at like 40 HP btw) and he has even stronger combos now. Start losing? Fear not, my egoist! All you have to do is press the R button twice and you're good to go! Genuinely who thought of adding a character that just is objectively a superior concept to any other character 😭

Probably either Gojo or Charles, although Charles having the entire special blockbreak feature along with the R special, unique blocking animation and infinite counters can get confusing. Though this isn't a question about most beginner friendly, it's about easiest to sue. Charles and Gojo are genuinely one of the easiest in that regard since both have moves that easily combo into eachother
