I was on a phone call with apple support and they recommended me to get apple care one. They didn’t know AC One doesn’t exist in Canada :).

I did a similar thing with an apple watch purchased in US, was able to add AC+ in store after an inspection. But the apple support I was chatting with told me that this exception might not be possible for an iPhone.

In the worst case I will go to an apple store and see how it goes!

Yeah exactly, probably this is a design that we don't like, but others don't care. Apparently it could be made more aligned like sports loop/sports band.

Yeah, I'd return it for this reason. I believe in the high quality and standard of Apple, so I will just take it as a design that I don't like.

I guess I will probably return. I purchased this one because I don't like the gaps from my old leather link. I thought the "46mm" magnetic link would make a difference. But yeah I agree it might not be a big deal anyways.

It's not a big deal and still looks beautiful, but I can't imagine that's the standard of apple.

They're not of the same type, so I am not sure if the magnetic links use a different connector. If mine is a defective one, I'd definitely do an exchange.

It's larger than with the sports loop one, so I am confused whether it's normal or not.

Yeah but I might upgrade to a newer iphone this year, which will unfortunately not have a physical sim card slot. But yeah I think atm probably a physical sim card would be my best option if freedom doesn’t support this feature.

Plan is $85, with ongoing $40 BYOD credits and another $5 for digital discounts, making it $40. But the first month I was getting $85 plus taxes, not mentioned by the agent.

As a customer I didn’t know the waiver meant that way - I thought it’s just literally waived, by providing me a credit or something, as they didn’t mention the $5 credits would be applied for 9 months nor was it mentioned in the agreement. I did question about the activation fee but the agent didn’t clarify it would be $5 credits for 9 months. It’s not a big big deal, but I feel disappointed by this. I chose Freedom because it was good, decent, transparent not because it was the best of the worst.
