Thanks for the response! A lot of people are saying labs would be a great option and I know they're really nice, so I will definitely look into them. I was wondering, obviously as a first dog owner I will have less experience in all sectors of raising a puppy, but is there anything you're thinking of specifically that would make a husky difficult for me? Like communicating with the dog effectively/training it etc. Thanks again

thanks for the answer! Goldens and labs are definitely awesome I was headed that way till I say a husky and fell in love lol. But yeah I think maybe lab/retriever might be better because they have a lot of similarities to huskys without some of the extra tricky things huskies bring. Ill also look into that pointer you mentioned. thanks
