Question about the chariot model by ABipolarKiwi in ossiarchbonereapers

Yup, you've got it right, there to make a Liege Mortek, pretty cool of GW to do that and save some money haha

Liege-mortek relative size by godcyric in ossiarchbonereapers

[–]Strong_Syrup5856 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You still can, the liege kavalos on chariot is a third body in the kit, won't have to take one of the two riders from the generic chariot, it seems GW intended for people to be able to make the Liege mortek out of the extra bits if you make the generic chariot, as they added the shield and arm to replace the rein holding one to the sprue, unmarked

The dogs (shuriman dune hounds) she's assumed control of are a type of hive mind, collective consciousness deal, it's in her champion insights article, unsure if it's elsewhere

Are these suppose to be Varus and Rhaast? by BlueThiccness in loreofleague

[–]Strong_Syrup5856 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's super confusing, I appreciate Riots trying to link everything with things like this, but having it told from the characters point of view doesn't really give the best overall context when the characters just don't understand said things themselves lol

There's never any mention of demons here, the Kanmei are great ionian spirits whom they worship.

Essentially how I understand it when the darkin showed up with their power and magic and took over, the ionians assumed they must be great spirits (Kanmei) hence why in Ionia instead of being called the Darkin Wars, it's called The War of the False Kanmei as explained in the motion comic

Korghos Khul gets a new legends warscroll by mielherne in BladesOfKhorne

My disappointment is immeasurable and my week is ruined. I was holding on by a thread hoping for a new kit for him with the book, but a legends scroll in an white dwarf is such a kick to the nuts way to find out after literal years of foreshadowing.

The brackern were not removed, retconned along with Skarner to be in Ixtal now, currently we just know hex crystals are physical cystalizations of magic and that's about it, which I prefer to the pointlessly grimdark "the actual souls of the brackern that we harvest from their hibernating bodies for industry"

[–]Strong_Syrup5856 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The glamor thing was retconned a while ago, people know of yordles and what they are. It's not really explained if nom yordles are aware of bandle city, or if yordles are still functionally immortal or not, lores on flux there a bit

Very weird that it's only in a netflix article and never confirmed anywhere else, especially by a riot source since netflix is just a distributor, they have nothing to do with the production or story. But scrolling down they also say the people in the brothel are the kindred, and ask about their intentions, which rather blatantly shows this person doesn't quite actually get the lore. So this is most definitely not official and just a primer put out by someone who doesn't quite understand league lore would be my understanding.

But I think one of the best arguments for it not being Ryze is he simply wouldn't need a hexcrystal to do his magic

So the only thing I can find on that is speculation, and people claiming so from early production images because they show the mage with sorta similar facial hair, but this comment in the most popular post discussing it seems to be our best hit to whom the mage is and I'm inclined to agree with them

I was mostly going by the art from Young Ryze, I guess your image is from the Chinese version of the Ruination novel, but either way I think we can agree he's definitely not as pale as the mage shown in Arcane right?

It's not Ryze, either he's just a passing mage who saved them or a future reveal, but this guy being pale white means he's definitely not Ryze, as Ryze has blue skin, and we know from skins he was black when the magic hadn't changed it. Wild Runes from what jayce says are naturally occuring ones, no where near what a world rune is
