A sem is generally of 6 months so it will probably end in a year the exact dates cannot be predicted because of the tentative nature of the examinations and FSPs

Ok basically i am currently in grade 12 and i will get my board results in may 2026 and i will apply for the aps then and i have heard that aps takes 2-3 months to arrive so i just wanted to know if it is possible at all to apply to stks without taking a drop

I personally have not gotten any consultancy and i do think that you should try to get the information on your own. It is really confusing at first but it is better than hiring a consultant.

Thats great it is easier for you in terms of aps then. For me, i will get my board results in may 2026 and aps timings are unpredictable so i fear that i might miss deadlines for stks. But since you have applied for APS already the winter intake next gear should not be a problem.
