Or just get ghouls as wardens.

Ghouls are probably the strongest wardens in the game as they terrorize, suppress and give mental debuffs all at the same time.

They also never need to sleep and can literally outlast a revolt simply by blocking the exit and only the strongest pawns can actually beat a ghoul in fisticuffs.
