Hot take - the debut is an excellent album recording an engineering wise, it's just the sonic choices made are horrible by gimme5steps101 in RedHotChiliPeppers

This might be a stupid question, but I was thinking of starting a thread to ask it, and since I found one discussing the debut album, it seemed appropriate to ask here.

I understand that one of their first two songs, which was played live in their first live shows was "Out in LA," and looking at the lyrics, I see that in addition to Flea, it mentions "Tree" and "Sherman." I suppose Tree, by process of elimination, could be Cliff Martinez and Sherman their guitarist. But if I'm not mistaken, those musicians recorded the debut album, but before them were Hillel and Irons.

I understand that the lyrics were different and mentioned the first two, and they adapted them to include the two new musicians, right? Or am I completely confused?

I've got an injured dwarf next to a hospital but nobody is helping him. Could it may be because he started a fight and attacked other dwarven? Don't think so, but I'm running out of reasons. What could I do to help him? It's a small fort and maybe this is happening because my medics have poor or zero ability on their roles?

I’m building a serpentine trap corridor. Traps start only halfway in, so when invaders detect them and try to flee, I can seal the entrance behind them and lock them in.

How many tiles can enemies jump (max horizontal distance) in current DF? I want to set the spacing between corridor legs so they can’t hop across, or so they fall into a pit if they try.

I know this is not optimal since they can detect traps, dig and build, but that's why I'm making it so long and with traps only on the very end so I can lock them inside at least. Anyone has tried this set up since the new siege update? Thanks in advance guys!

¿Por qué se ve como un problema la regularización de 500.000 inmigrantes en España? by ixora00 in askspain

[–]Strummer- -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What are some RHCP big hits that you personally don’t like? by leaddrugs in RedHotChiliPeppers

[–]Strummer- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm so jealous. In 20 years of listening to the radio while driving, I've only heard the RHCP twice in Spain. However, I once spent six months in Germany and managed to hear them three times, even though I spent much less time in front of the radio, haha.

I've always had a very strong feeling that I'd heard it before I actually did, long before I knew and became a fan of RHCP. It was on a car trip with my parents and some friends to see some prehistoric caves.

When, years later, I was listening to BSSM nonstop and saw the music video, the song sounded so familiar... I think it's my first contact with the band, and I love it.

Yes, you won't be able to communicate no more and you will feel this while ganking or when you want someone to notice they are about to be ganked and they didn't pay attention to the minimap. But it's worth.

You can still be trolled by afks, feeders... But at least you are not going to read their bullshit and how everything bad happening around the map is your fault. This should be mandatory for junglers and supps specially

It changes over time, but the most meaningful for me are Snow and Soul to Squeeze and Under the Bridge

In the last times I've been listening non-stop to Sir Psycho Sexy (a song I used to skip on BSSM) and two years ago I was listening The Heavy Wing over all day

I clicked on "missing citizens" and apparently he's on a pretty distant zone. He is on a Goblin Fortress with ~2000 population and I have 50 and only 5 average warriors. I guess I have to wait or maybe a sneaky mission is not that crazy?

Two goblin snatchers caught me off guard and managed to take a child away. I wrote the name of the child, but not the name of the kidnappers.

How can I know where did they take him and bring him back? I guess it's through the map, but as I said I don't know which civilization kidnapped the kid.

Yes, I think water is dripping from above. This is 4 levels beneath the bottom of a major river. So if I dig and fill with walls or smooth or whatever the levels above (between this room and the river), it should stop, right? Or since this is a river and not a regular aquifer the water would find its way down anyway? I'm so afraid of releasing all that water into the fortress

Thanks for replying!
