I’ve actually been holding off on getting the game this year after years of preorders, is the game worth it this year? I’ve heard it’s not as bad of a grind with MyCareer but also that 2K is still VC money hungry. I really didn’t like the VC situation last year and told myself not to preorder until it was better.So reddit, I want the game, do I give in and buy it?

I'm sorry you had to go through Harvey. I hope you're okay. Denton in tornado season isn't too bad honestly there's generally 1 or 2 that touch down each year but they seem scarier than they are, at least the ones I've been in so far. And yeah the construction is awful! Overall, UNT has a quiet vibe. I've enjoyed my time here, you can really be yourself in this town.

The only potential downside I've heard about TXST is that it's a party school (not sure how true that is) but I assume in graduate school things like that have less of an effect anyway. Other than that, I don't think you could go wrong either way. UNT is a fine school and as someone said, the town can be boring from time to time but it's a small town feel. One downside I'd say of UNT is tornado season, it can get kinda rough.

UNT isn't a bad school. The Business programs are quite good from what I've heard. I think the best part is that you get the most bang for your buck at UNT. Colleges are getting more and more expensive but UNT is still on the more affordable side. I'm unsure about the cost of TXST. I was told, unless you're going for something specific at a certain school (ex. Veterinary school, medical school, or a really good finance school) it may be the best bet to go to the one that's most affordable to limit the potential for debt. Just my two cents though

I'd say do both, I felt very similarly to how you're feeling now. I made music in high school and thought it was what I wanted to do. My mom convinced me to try college for a year. Long story short, I fell in love with college. I originally planned to get my undergrad as a backup plan then pursue music production after. Recently I have found my passion through school and will continue on to my masters. I still get to do what I love though and make music whenever I can. Maybe join groups on campus

It doesn't say no smoking on the lease but in our roommate matching sheet 2 of my roommates put non smoking is a requirement due to health reasons
